Finished working on this! You can view more images here ^_^
I checked out the link, and I have to say the sculpt is pretty incredible! For your next piece, you might put some more time into the hair and the skin texture. They either hide or distract from how great the sculpt is. It's clear where you're going with these elements and they're about 95% to being up to par with your sculpt, but pushing it just a little more will pay huge dividends.
The detail in the eyelids and lacrimal glands is absolutely spot on though, and I've been struggling with those things for ages.
Finally finished the Hotel Cortez from American Horror Story in Unreal. Thanks to Mathis Widrat and Oskar Johansson-Möller for most of the textures and Eric Cochonneau for the final ColorGrading
Haven't posted on here in quite awhile, but wanted to share my latest work! It's based off of the old basketball gym from the movie Hoosiers. More images on Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/NBw8q
Did a lot of anatomy learning recently and wanted to put all the new knowledge into a sculpt no symmetry, just dynamesh from sphere and a lot of awesome references (bammes, anatomy360 and more) let me knwo what you think!
Stylized character study based on the awesome drawing by Dylan Ekren. Done during a course taught by him as well. I can barely put into words how much I've learned during the classes, it was a overhaul on how I read shapes and silhouette. I plan to post the progress with some thoughts on my Polycount thread: https://tinyurl.com/jthng78
Rendered in Marmoset 3 - which, by the way, is freaking awesome.
Never really posted my stuff on the showcase, but I think this one may be worthy enough to share here xD. Practiced lighting on my Cloud Strife Fan Art from last year (since MT3 is out....and I desperately need practice haha). Wireframe and other shots are on my artstation (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rBxwe) Please feel free to share your critiques!
Hello there) The first attempt to implement Handpaint + PBR. I think is not really poluchilos.(( Materials blocked all handpaint. But the first time I became acquainted with Substance and tried baking maps in new Marmoset toolbag. I hope you will enjoy.) Marmoset view and more images: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/YoaEq
I've been reworking some of my old stuff lately, and the one I'm posting today is actually a remake of a remake of the very first 3D character render I did, back in 2014.
The character is from a very old RTS game, Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, named Thirsha.
Everything (model, sculpt, baking, etc etc) done in Blender; texturing, masks, post processing and general adjustments in Photoshop; rendered in Cycles.
Needs more junk, shape and such improved on him but progress on new thing. Following Kurt Papstein, Jared Krichevsky and Jerad Marantz for style study references and approach.

Revisited my old renders and with a small amount of work managed to polish them up quite a bit. I'm quite happy with the turn out!
