Just finished a stylised wooden barrel asset. I've trying to improve the presentation of my work so let me know if you have any pointers! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lao1o
Started working on a new portfolio project. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on this over the next few months. Modeled in Maya. Textured in substance. Still in material blockout phase. C&C welcome.
Happy New Year everyone! I've kind of been off the grid for a while now since I started my new job, but I've continued to stop by and checkout the beautiful artwork in here whenever I can. Perhaps some of you might find this interesting, so I thought to pass it along. I recently was lucky enough to be featured a couple of times in 3D World Magazine and also in 3D Artist Magazine. It is a great honor for me to be among so many other talented artists and at the same time I am happy that I was able to contribute back to the community by providing some tips for foliage creation in video games. If you're interested in checking out the articles and tutorial, the links are below. I hope you all enjoy it and feel free to share it with your friends.
This is a reference photo I took in Sweden which has incredible foliage... and artists haha There is also a ton more texture shots, reference images, and photogrammetry packs up on my gumroad. Will be adding more soon if you want to check it out. Thanks for looking everyone! https://www.gumroad.com/purepolygons
Just some work for my port still half in on the blockout and design phase of this rocket pod veichle, paneling and fun details soon
and been working on this pillar when I got a bit bored of it (when I take breaks I tend to make other models lol) just thinking some tiles on the lower half and its good for cage & texturing
Fully procedural damaged Earth that I made in Substance Designer. More procedural planets here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qBawN you can also find Marmoset Viewer files to see those in 3d. Differend seed numbers generates new planets
Hey everyone! I went ahead and did some updates to my Liquid Sunshine piece because I wanted to see the progression I've made since last summer. I've also included the before and after image so hopefully you can see the progression I've made. So without further ado I am happy to present my latest piece Liquid Sunshine.
Hi all, new user, a little rusty on how forums work. This is a WIP image of a SAS or Spec Ops operative i have been working on and off with the last few weeks. Thoughts? Comments? Improvements?
Started this in early Jan, although I've already done most of the tree at that point for another project. Discovered a new form of procrastination: trying every light setup possible in U4 :-/ There's a really big zoomed in version on my artstation thanks to their fit do width thing!
