Can you give us a little insight into how to setup up the bake for the floaters and what maps you used?

Hey @Anchang-Style yeah its pretty straight forward for this sheet you want all your base meshes to be on the same plane when it bake and the floaters i have at the bottom of the sheet are still "base" meshes then i have floaters on top of the trims and floaters on top of floaters (floater-inception ahha ) anyway for normal map baking you can export all of these and it will bake out correctly. If you are baking a AO map (most likely you will) you will need to strip out the floaters that are hovering above all the "base" meshes in to a separate AO bake from the base mesh AO bake and combine the 2 with a multiply in photoshop. BOOM there you have it! I also used masked maps to mask material selections in the material and emissive mask and potentially a edge wear mask for revealing edge wear ....<---- this is kind of based on your texturing workflow and there are many approaches each one with pros and cons.
Hi Guys! I have just finished the second free Pack of 4 realistic Bark Tile Textures based on Photogrammetry meshes. Use or modify them as you please! (4kx8k vertical textures)
Working on a custom Mon Calamari Cruiser from Star Wars.
https://youtu.be/176S4hzJchY << Linkie to a flyby, and http://imgur.com/a/HfPlg << more WIP shots. Still a lot of fiddly detail work to do, but I'm happy to say it's only been like 10 hours of work so far. A lot of that was learning new methods to wrap geo around other geo.

Just an exercise that I am trying to get into the habit of doing. Figured I can try to do some type of anatomy sculpt every week or so. Right now I'm working on smoothing it out. Let me know what you guys think.

Nice work matt except i was looking forward to what you would do via textures to your artstation entry.
Thats is all even though this resembles that atm, hope it is not in disrespect but that of encouragement challenge. I do like this, let that be known, i hope i am not wrong in pushing your potential.
First time posting here, long time lurking.. I'm only modeling since a year, so I was always a bit too shy to post here. I'm currently working on a radio inspired by the old Patrolman radios. I'm doing a new and a very old/broken version, this one is the broken one. it's still a WIP. modeled with 3DS Max, painted with Substance Painter.

Adding another update. I was able to do a pass on materials, maps and lighting. Still WIP but getting closer.
