Working on 3D model of Markl from Howl's Moving Castle. Want it to be game ready model with hand painted textures. So far I more or less finished high poly version. Hope you like it!
Just finished this chap recently. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag, textured in Substance Painter. More on my AS [https://www.artstation.com/artist/intervain] or Instagram for the interested parties Thanks.
I got inspired by some other substances, so I decided to push my Substance Designer skills and make this gothic patterns. It's all done in Substance Designer. Head over to my Artstation to check it out more.
Substance Designer practice for me. Here's my latest material - a wet bathroom floor. More shots and the full, commented graph are available for free HERE.
Went back to an old asset and entirely re-made it. I thought the old one was way too ugly, especially now with refraction in Marmoset. More renders in my sketchbook (and also a shot of my old, terrible asset), feel free to come over and give C&C! http://polycount.com/discussion/181660/sketchbook-daniel-swing#latest
First time "finishing" a spare-time project in awhile. I did a concept for an Overwatch style character and a weapon, and decided to make the weapon. Hopefully I get around to the character. Not too sure if I hit the Overwatch style mark, especially in terms of initial design/silhouette. It's meant to be based on a police baton, that then transforms into an electric weapon. Baked and rendered in Marmoset 3, click the image to see the viewer on artstation.
My depiction of Vin, the protagonist of Brandon Sanderson's 'Mistborn' books. This is kind of a work in progress as I intend to do the rest of the character also, but the primary goal was to practice current gen techniques for texturing hair and skin.
Friend of mine was kind enough to lend me his pistol so that I could practice texturing. Wanted to try out hand painting so I painted just about every channel. Lots of fun but I could definitely use some more practice.
hey guys, i'm so exciting to share my newest work i used for study. This is Einar, the mighty Viking. Concept by Johannes Helgeson, you guys can check more his awesome artworks at here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1wq62 And more progress and high quality at here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Wx1XQ All c/c are welcome
Working on something completely out of the ordinary and unexpected for Smite(fan art). I substituted god armor for organic materials and dragon scales. I wanted to roll with it and see how it goes. It's also for my own unique world.
XD Doing some humans in my free-time as well to add necessary variety to my portfolio. Anyway! Onto his game-res. I have it blocked in here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/abJkX
Clean up his composite a bit more so it's straighter nicer curves.
