Hi Polycount! It's been almost a year since I posted something. Here is my latest work. Real-time bust, textured in Substance Painter, rendered in Marmoset. Inspired by amazing concept art of Ilya Golitsyn Please check my artstation for more pictures and marmoset viewer!
First time using Substance Painter to texture... not exactly sure what to do with the skin.
Nice model and not bad for your first time in Substance Painter. I don't really do organics, but I'm thinking that you may want to have some more variation in the skin color. Consider exaggerating some of the contrast a bit, especially on areas of the body that are more exposed to sunlight. The inside of the arms and knees probably won't be as tan as the outside. Likewise, you may consider using an alpha for pores in the roughness map to help break the specular reflection in certain areas (the face is kind of tricky, especially with the lips I would think).
Everything else looks pretty spot on, so you're on the right track.
A sculpture I did at a local figure drawing session. Sculpted the details in a T-pose, then posed it using the zsphere rig. My first time uploading with Sketchfab
Creates 16 different combos.
4 inputs. Each input is a boolean - LMB or RMB
Combo pattern based on geomantic figures. Link
The correct combo prompts the blue rune cast effect.
Wrong combos and leaving the center during input will prompt the shatter version.
Made in UE4: BP + material + particles + decal
Rune visual uses color ID mask to show the correct runes
Particles and visual assets are updated each time there is an input via blueprints
Successful combos imprint the ground with a rune glow decal effect
The decal uses a height map for normals, opacity and blending the glow.
Looks the best at 1080p!
Calling this effect done for now!
It will get a final unification pass once the rest of the art is made.
