A simulation of the aliasing of a typical CMOS sensor with naive reconstruction. The Lenna image is projected by a simulated LCD screen. Under Bayer filtering, the screen aliases exactly like pinstripes, bricks, etc. do on a digital camera. You will also notice on close inspection fringing on the borders of the screen frame. Top image is the ground truth.
Hey everyone I have been working on this environment for quite a while;inspired by a street in Andalusia and arabic markets. First time modeling an open environment and using UE4. Critique is very much needed and appreciated.
@Bruno Afonseca I rendered in Corona at 2x my target resolution, then in Photoshop overlaid a Bayer filter while still in HDR, downscaled to target res, and presto!
I've been working on a Balrog model. 1900 polys with Normal, AO, Diffuse, and Emission mapping. Fully rigged, some animations. Particle effects and scripting are in the works!
Hi Guys, My first robot and post here. My personal project for gnomon online class - hard surface modeling I by James Schauff. Thanks James for being my mentor.
Hello everyone! Here is a progress which I have today.
I completely redesigned the wireframe to make it longer, puffy and curly. Made 3 layers for hair - 1st - base form, 2nd - curly, 3rd - small curls. But in next wip I want to add 4th system to make a connection of hair on the forehead more realisic. Happy viewing!

I may be biased because I'm working on it but it's one of the best VR games I've ever played, that's the main reason I wanted to get in on development.
I'm a big fan of the Netflix Series House of Cards, So long time ago I started working on a personal project of president Underwood , learning new stuff about skin shading and hair grooming. For texturing I used the Infinite Realities session images of one of their characters. Xgen Interactive grooming was used for hair. And I used alshaders for skin. check it here https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kK310
Finished up work on my Wood Floor texture, I'm slowly learning that these fun details I put just make the tiling very obvious. My next texture will work on that.
Last year, I had the pleasure to create Gunthur, one of the many bosses that will appear on Black Iris game, an indie project that I've been working. I hope you guys like it!
Shadwen Heavy Guard I did this medieval guard character for our game called SHADWEN. During this project I was responsible for making different tasks. As a huge fan of a medieval era, this character assignment was my favorite part! To see more and in 3d please follow the link> https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QkalZ
Hoi all , decided to make a Tribute Substance to one of my favorite game franchise of all time , Bioshock . The texture is fully procedural , don't hesitate if you want to see the nodes or if you have any questions .
