Thanks for the complement [HP], JamesMeader I'll be posting some wires in my progress thread in due time
Had a play with things this morning, thinking of wrapping this up soon, still need to do some breakdown shots and better images relating to the high poly sculpts.
Xelioth:
I just tried redesign the Batman model to give different look. Its was my idea to put those glow.
But I think I have to take care before redesign any model. Thanks for advice.
If it is a part of design, what kind changes you suggest for that glow, any idea? I would be grateful for that. Waiting for your reply.
At least to me, it looks like the blue glow doesn't follow the curves of the armor. It seems to be just kind of slapped on top of the other shapes?
The part that stands out to me is his chest plate. It looks like his plate follows the curve on his pecs, but the blue light just seems to be in a straight line. Same with his abs, those lines just seem to be straight rather than following the natural curves of his body.
I also think that, just in general, the blue lights create a lot of noise in the design. There are so many bright blue lines that the eye never has a place to rest.
Nice Annachikn, I'd rework those creases on the jacket arms tho, they dont look like they are actually being caused by the weight or bunching, the back of the shoulder creases too.
Nice overall tho, keep it up
ha cool those fellas have got personality TomAnima
Ho ho killer NyneDown
I dig that style Jamesy
So sick Cosmo85!
I've been messing around with this skinny fella, just not happy about 'sumd00d' overall. I think the abs could still do with some work, perhaps abit more weight.
he looks good man, personally i think he's got almost superhero proportional exaggerations going on. you know the triangular shape from the shoulders to hips?
the head is right for the shoulders, so i think it's the hips and abdomen that are the problem, broaden them a little so he's more square, and maybe make the lats a little less huge.
Lookin good! Gorgeous environments! The gameplay/animation does seem very slow and floaty though, and the enemies dying seem super weird, but this looks to be a very promising game! Keep up the great work!
@jmiles: Thanks!! I love your Panda warrior, really cool fan art
@TheQiwiMan: Woah! Thanks a lot man, the gameplay/animations are just in a test-phase and that dying thing it's because of Unity's Ragdoll heheheh
It's just a 3 month project with just 2 guys, me and my brother and Zero budget.. if you feel like you can support us with your critics, comments or even your models or animations just follow us here at the polycount thread and let us know:
This is my first post to the Polycount Forum. Please Enjoy!:) I also have no Idea how post the image directly in the post with out that thumbnail thing. Sorry folks:poly142:
Hey everyone! I have a blog up of a lot of the work that I produce at college doing Video games development and I'd really appreciate it if some of you would come have a look! I have 3D modelling and photoshop work too http://jackdavidwilliams.wordpress.com/
Hey guys, some awesome stuff going on here as usual, i just wanted to share something i started working on a few days ago its been tonnes of fun.
P.S. my greatest challenge as been to decide if the breast size is right or too big xD
artistic values and all that jazz :P
I love this man...awesome work. The boobiez are a huge focal point and almost take away from what you did for her face, which is really nice and well done. If she were to try and zip up her coat, I dont think she'd be able to. I'd probably make them just a little smaller for those two reasons. Just my 2 cents! Good stuff though man!
@Tits - wow...solid stuff! Checked out your wip thread for this, my mind is blown. Cant wait to see her finished!
Got more stuff done on the dune buggy, now it's time to texture this beast,,
I think you could use a bit more resolution on the chairs. Primarily the headrests. It looks slightly lower res than the rest of the model for being the focus point.
Been working on this for a while now...Its gonna be a large Chem.Processing Plant once its finished. Screens are from the Logistics Complex, which is one part of 5 and almost finished now.
few things to tweak here and there, dem pants gotta get less folds.
Nice work
I think the pants look great except they could use some bunching above the straps. The folds in the sleeve are way too uniform/repetitive though, though
i guess maturity is overrated in some places as well
EDIT: TheQiwiMan maybe you should try and give some actual feedback, you know something that i might use to judge what needs to be fix rather than give some sarcastic joke that helps no one....

thank you! i'll give it another shot. thank you, again.

Sorry I offended you, I'm usually a big fan of your work. If you like porn-tastically exaggerated boobs on your 3D women, there's totally nothing wrong with that, I just thought it was funny. If you'd like I'll remove my sarcastic image?
i don't get offended by the image i just feel sad that you would rather post something funny instead of giving a well thought critic. I understand the boobs were too big (i stated it when i posted) and i am currently changing them with input from a lot of people on other sites, honestly i didn't think they were to big i like big boobs so they looked normal to me xD sorry if i sounded offended before its just annoying for me when i post something and generally get no feedback and when i do its a joke. anyway i will post a more modest version soon

Damnit, Haz. How is it your stuff both shames me and makes me want to get better?

What do people think?
I agree with Praetus, I wish I had been around for your character workshop
Keep up the good work!

Did a little more work on this over the weekend, slowly getting there. Need to wrap this up and then get the luggage textured.

then he'll be more average i suppose.
great stuff anyway!
CrackRockSteady - Again, great choice of asset, textures are looking like they're coming along nicely too!
Here's a quick cross post from my environment thread (just one image, don't want to be greedy):

Just finished my entry for Substrata.
Just working on the hair
Shameless crosspost

this is great. are you using an engine? which one?
I really like it but his hands seem too large. He looks a bit unbalanced in that area.

Nice ! This is exactly what I thought.
It's look more realistic now
The breasts are perfect...
Thanks dude, very nice of you and I really appreciate it
