We're actually submitting the 'Lite" version of this game to Apple tomorrow, then the full version in a couple weeks. I might as well link the gameplay trailer. I've been working on this game after work for about a year, just me and my Unity Programmer buddy. Its a simple 2-button runner game if anyone's interested, the free "Lite" version should be available on the app store in about a week or 2.
A university project to create a modular building from the London Blackfriars area, I went with the City of London School building. I had to rush it for hand-ins so I'll polish it to portfolio level over the next few weeks

AdamOstridge everything about that is gorgeous except for the loud leave clumps in the background, near the left side of the school. But I love everything else, including the awesome colors.

Guess I'm not the only one making Lord of the Rings swords. Mine are all Mount&Blade res, though, which means they're around 300-500 triangles and are all on the same 1024 texture, of which they only take up about half so far.
Damn, i got lost a week and this thread is filled with crazy stuff. Anyway, i got some time today at lunch time to start the pants. I have just finished the wrinkles and some details in sculptris. I'm not anal for the small details, the pants model is around 450k tris (my laptop screams when i get close to one million).
Thanks for the two cents Prophecies your totally right. I made some adjustments hope reads more like Ian Mckellan now, because that is my end goal
Kickass sculpt but Ian's face is far narrower, I think that'll help you. Just grab the whole thing and scaLe it thinner. Also take more care of his eyes, bulbous nose prosthetic and mouth, those are very distinctive features of his. Especially his eyes.

not bad, but just like Sting (above) you should remove as much noise as possible. they're elven blades, they don't tarnish, scratch, chip, or dent.

the leather and wood read pretty well, but that metal blade looks like shit, reads sandstone not metal.

haha amazing! In West Philadelphia born and raised on the polycount where I spent most of my days...
Only crit is to maybe round Carlton's head a bit more and shrink it a little bit and the body so he doesn't look so fat.
