Guess I'm not the only one making Lord of the Rings swords. Mine are all Mount&Blade res, though, which means they're around 300-500 triangles and are all on the same 1024 texture, of which they only take up about half so far.
Lovely work! They look a little bit too shiny I'd say but it's probably just that rim-lighting. I'd be interesting to zoom into the handles to look at the material definition but overall sweet work !
Howdy, this is a character i was working on over the christmas break, it's my first organic model that i made in max and sculpted in mudbox, i know the renders suck, tryin to learn how to do it nicely, but if you guys have any critiques feel free to rip it apart
Animation project that i and some other students just finished for school.

I did most of the textures and worked on the light for a scene.
Here's a sculpt I've played around with to judge how far I've come in the past 4 yrs since I last attempted him. Based off one of my favorite male actors, hope he's recognizable. I'll finish him one of these days
It's more than inspiration here. You don't even post on the orignal threard for say that it's cool, or something! And it's on your website! At least, quote the reference!
Never used Zbrush before, I decided to fool around in it a bit. I did not use any referance because I was just getting a feel for the program. I have no idea what it is so I'm just going call it a dragon and dog? So how'd I do for my first sculpt?
It's an environment piece for the game I'm working on. Its been unwrapped and weighs in around 3500 tris. It is ready for texturing and I might do a high poly version if I get time (as I have tons of university work to do lol).
I love going through this thread, so much inspiring art. This is a building I've recently made as part of a small stylized, low poly environment I'll be creating around it.
The graphics of the game are kind of retro with big pixels as for the player to concentrate on the narrative and imagine the details in their characters as if they wear reading a book. Their history is set in victorian England and is heavily inspired by Poe and Lovecraft
I found their first demo so inspiring. and thought it would be a funny plan for yesterday night to sculpt a version their main character in zbrush.
Hey all, WIP of a centaur I'm working on. Would love some feedback, esp on anatomy. Atm still experimenting on how to sculpt skin and mix in fat along with loose skin and those skin defects.

Hey Mill; your weapons retexture mod on steam workshop, doesn't work, theres some error, any chance we could get a fix?

I do plan on improving this lots for a portfolio piece (Will be doing the whole building).
Excuse the interpenetration, I noticed it only now.
This is really nice! Although you need to rotate the columns as the texture repeat is a bit obvious.
Also there seems to be some uv issues under the roof trim.
It looks really nice though!

This is truly intriguing. What's the story, is this guy the essence of the humble salt shaker embodied in human form?
posted the rest in my threat today: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=115620
