Working on this for my Final year Project. Its not finished yet there are still a few areas that need fixing. The backs too small for the rest of the sofa, and a few holes are still showing between the wooden legs and the quilt. It will eventually be baked down to a low poly model as well as it stands at around 100 thousand polys at the moment.
Man... that thing is so fucking sexist I can't even look at it for too long and not feel ashamed...
Art can't be sexist. If it COULD be, though, it would be the result of the artists intention. Which in this case is certainly not sexist. Not sure if you were joking?
Hey JeremyRM, that water looks AMAZING. How'd you do it?
sick as a dog the last three days so felt like just getting some paint onto a (digital) canvas. nothing doing concept-wise but i'm happy at where i can still go in 30 minutes being out of practice.

No, it was no joke!
I am sick of women in (video) games treated as mostly mindless flesh. Most of the time they are displayed as sex-symbols with no more background than 'big boobs and show them... and ass!'. Women in games do have a role, which does not fall under 'Art' as they represent the female gender no matter what game or 'artform' it is. You cannot display a woman and say it is not a woman, it is art. It will influence people, saying it does not is just ignorant.
This is not only about the art shown, it is more a general thing that is wrong with a some and too many video games. In these men are given heroic attributes like strength and dexterity, women have gigantic boobs and a mostly weaker, beautiful appearance.
I don't want to break this thread into a great discussion about sexism, its just my 2 cents on those kinds of concepts / models of women in (video) games.
I do not say a word against him as an artist as it certainly shows great craftmansship!
Some new features at a glance:
-- Less of a generator, now more of a "Builder"
-- Ability to generate a branch on the trunk, or any other branch
-- Modify all elements of the tree without losing any of your previous edits
-- "Edit Mode" now allows you to quickly change the shape of the trunk and branch's control spline, while automatically updating the geometry
-- "Grow and Shrink" buttons for adding new control points to your trunk or branch for a more organic way to build your tree.
-- Methods for duplicating and deleting branches.
So I just realized exactly how much I suck, you guy's are awesome. everything I looked at every pic in this waywo thread and mind blowing art. I almost died first my heart nearly stopped and then I couldn't breath, the awesome.
Then I saw Nick and Jane and I was like this is it if two ppl on the web can make a game so can I.
I started this this morning, though, well yesterday sometime. My drawing sucks.
After I worked on this last night.
my goal is to up the crazy to insanity and get better at this art thing.
