Hi guys working on my first female hero. Modeled almost all of her in Maya, then into z brush for some detailing still very much WIP. Not sure if I should carry on trying to make characters as I dont feel up to the standard. any feedback you guys have would be appreciated.
I am currently working on this character and is having trouble texturing his body. Since his body is curved, do I have to texture each section and if I do, how do I make it seamless through each section so a line doesn't show up
Yo guys and gals! Here are a couple of things I am working on, first one is a miniature that just needs final client feedback and the other is a character I am slowly working on.
Made a new texture for my world and uploaded it to Sketchfab:

@ moik - That straw around his wrists!! is that a bunch of splines? It looks pretty bad A right now. Maybe it's cause he's missing his pupils but yours seems a little more on the "scary, I'm gonna get ya side" vs the concept that seems to be on the "cuter, i wanna cuddle side". The brow and the mouth are what's giving that impression to me. Not that it's a negative or anything! I frankly like it either way you want to go with it.
@ Daneil - I just looked at your instagram and nearly fainted....you have some exceptional work my man. That's really all I can say. Just. WOW!
started on some basic "AI" thingies
enemies are ever gonna actually move around a level but only either stand still and shoot at the player, or move from their spawn point to a cover of sorts, when the player enters a trigger...
at least I'll have some controlled situations where I can flip a table over before covering behind it
I suppose I should post this here too Here's the Hellcat I got to make for a game ArtCraft Entertainment is making called Crowfall http://crowfall.com/#/ Hopefully their kickstarter goes well when it launches!
@ Chase: Hey man
For the straw on the wrists I created a low poly shell of the forearm in maya, then I taken this back to Zbrush to use fibre mesh with a huge "Coverage" setting
Finished the bulk work on the entrance area, went with the painted metal look instead of generic shiny metallic surfaces, now it's time for me to tackle the sides of the corridor.

Nice work! Are you using unity and their navmesh stuff?

hey thanks, no I have no idea about that stuff
the enemies are just moving forward until they hit a trigger that tells them to do something :P
they won't be running around the level :poly136:
Week 6 of my New Years Adventure.
Tried something stylized this week.
Started with Queen Tyr'ahnee. She took less time then I expected,
so I used the same base sculpt to create Wonder Woman.
I didn't do any specific version of WW, just the general look.

I plan to paint mine when I get the time.
I also made this demon baby recently and made a little stop motion video with it:
