little more work on yesterdays sculpt, sculpted the hair to block in the volumes, added eyelashes and small texture tweaks... Also started blocking in a torso
Although a bit unconventional, I thought I'd post a fun little project I had done in order to familiarize myself with 3D printing, using the Makerbot 2 at my local library.
The d20 measures roughly at 40 mm and at a resolution of 0.1 mm.
Hi everyone ! amazing stuff here as always ! Here is what I'm working on ! Still stuff to do on this like the entrance and some props but critics are welcome
Working on a sculpt of Grant Mckay from the comic "Black Science". Having trouble finding consistency of the proportions in various drawings of him, so I've been comparing with Javier Bardem and Andrei-Kirilenko.
I've been sculpting some basic wardrobe changes for the character in the research project at work. I've been struggling with making decent looking cloth. but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Hello everyone. I thought I'd share a few images I did during the Zbrush 4R7 beta. The first two are modeled in Zbrush and rendered in KeyShot. The last image was modeled in Zbrush, re-assambled and rendered in Modo.
Quick render of my scifi corridor I started for fun ysterday:
I want to say great work on the time frame done to make this but if you were considering improving it in your later works, I would honestly consider changing the floor. Thinking logically here, no one would enjoy walking on that walkway you have modeled. walk ways should be flat and even, while the floor here has indents and would be irritating to walk on. To improve it I suggest that it would be better to add a grate and honestly that would improve the idea behind your neat ascetic. just throwing out the idea for your later works man, keep up the awesome work.
I figured it out! Get the link from dropbox and add ?raw=1 to the end of the url. Then copy the new url that is generated for you! Here it is! My MP5KA1 Textures for the model made by Krycek.
Can't think of anything else to do with his face right now, other than the details(but that's for later)..
So i started working on the forms for his body before sculpting, trying to keep that stylized ape like feel(but subtle). I'll try to nail that comicbook/Jim Lee feel today.
Critiques are welcome if you have the time.
Hey everybody! currently working on an art test for PixelBombGames. it is base on a concept from Concept artist Steven Dizz Desykes and from the game Beyond Flesh and Blood ( http://beyondfleshandbloodgame.com/wp/ )
Thanks for the peek into your workflow, Marco. I have been greatly impressed by this series you have been working on. You have some bold designs in there, in particular I thought sloth and pride were pretty incredible. You've tempted me to try the UVMaster. You've gotten some great results with it on some very complex creature designs.

I also baked down my Galil's scope and whipped up a quick base for it:

Edit: My picture isn't working...can someone teach me how to fix it? I used dropbox to share a link.
I guess polycount isn´t supporting dropbox links for images?
haha, nice question - but sometimes, a "lack of respect" is the best basis for unbiased feedback
just a fun practice with material a collision and wind
It's best sometimes, you're right. Nobody is perfect and sometimes a persons rep gets in the way of them getting real, actionable crits...

Finished it in two days. Metalness PBR (quixel), 2k polys
I'm currently working on my tribute to the Arthur Gimaldinov's art, Because his characters are just AWESOME
Gonna make a complete lowpoly game model out of this bastard! Possibly Using DoTA shaders
Just a few more things left to do on this...
This looks awesome! Be careful, you got some seams going on on those pipes in the top right corner.

Thanks!
Also thanks for the reminder! I knew about that seam for a while now, finally fixed it some moments ago.
Still kinda sub-optimized, so that comes next.
