Working on learning Blueprints in UE4 with the boardgame, Checkers :poly142: Getting the art out of the way because A) I kinda know how to do that part Allows me to dive into the nitty gritty a bit faster while still having a good start to the overall look.
Pretty sweet textures you got going on there, Rodgon! Here is a quick WIP of where I am at with my character I am making from my ecorche sculpt.
that's kickass, i like it very much! keep it up
(i think her stance is a bit weird though, looks like she's standing with her shoulders too far back and her neck too forward) but maybe that's just me
That armor against schlong sword... (couldn't resist)
But now to the crit, that shield's handle is wrong. Think about her raising her hand, the shield would be sideways. Or it could also go upside down depending how she is gonna hold it. I'm not saying it's your fault it might be in the ref, which I haven't seen, but to me it looks wrong. Other than that she is AWESOME!
It's so hard to get a natural pose... you people make it look so easy.
I wanted to try to make one of these natural and slightly stylised female "pinup" characters I love to see on the boards, it's proving to be quite a challenge.
Hi all. WIP Space fighter for my game, i'm working on currently. This is a mix of lowpoly with highpoly objects.
Don't know if this is alright to ask technical questions in this thread, but i try - is it a good practice to have so many small objects, then attach them into one and unwrap? Or should it be one big mesh ideally?
Hey guys - new to this after 8 or so years as a mograph/VFX generalist. I'm finally making the leap to indie game dev like I've been dreaming about (yikes!) Just trying to get my texture painting skills up to snuff... This is the first pass at a skin and normal map texture that I've done. I'd love some feedback on how I can get better.
Hello Everyone, it's been a while since I've posted anything here. Gonna be finishing up this model soon. Thought I'd post my progress for the next couple days.
Damn guys you post some awesome work here !
I'm working on a Skywind Imperail Character set
Here's a work in progress of the battlemage armor.. almost there

Thanks Man!
Thanks!
Your lady knight looks really good but it could use some more protection, in my eyes protection from eyes is most needed!

My first post here, super exciting!
I would love to get some feedback on this one. The concept is from WoW Mists of Pandaria.
Big thanks to Draconius and Oskar! for the feedback!
awesome, I like the style, and color as well
some crits : if you trying to match the concept, then your house look a bit thin. the trees doesn't look like they belong to this environment
Hope you all like it
been working on this Doctor Strange model for a bit.
Quick highpoly after seeing the latest GoT episode and thinking about The Red Viper of Dorne's weaponry.

Baked this out tonight. Nothing but raw bake data in that image and the lowpoly mesh. Was a fair grind to get it looking right.
just something sci-fi-ish and silly to put in unreal one of these days
Love the axe blade! Very cool design!
I did another version with less bloom (i.e. I darkened the diffuse of the tubes and the screws).
Female base mesh
And a first pass on a cloth armor set
Not really happy with the chest armor currently as it's rushed and not really working with the rest : /
You really put a smile on my face mate
Looking forward for this chibi
