doing some sort of weapon icon popup for my sniper roguelike , to give an initial impression that hopefully lasts (main gameplay is very small top down, so you only had a couple pixels for a gun)
figured for a last bit of work for the year id experiment with a bit of colour before carrying on with my zonda
initial results look good, but seeing as the car only comes in 3 colours (white, green, orange) i might have a look at the other 2 as alternatives. not really tried getting any of the materials right, just seeing how the colours work together.

Updated with new material - leathery seat. Not too happy about the roughness on it yet and some of the detail, but I'm calling it done for now. My goal is to finish about one per day.

bit more mucking about with colours, improving accuracy of stuff. preferring the orange over the white for the bodywork, gives some much needed colour to the render. moving on to the headlights, smaller details, and still improving smoothing errors and edge width soon
Spent tonight babysitting my little brother so I decided to apply a basic texture to my previous sculpt... spent around 45 minutes on the texture since its just a block-in of tones with no detail at all.
Any critique is appreciated as per usual

It´s a Magpul AFG and as reference, I used the real model and worked with a digital caliper to get it right : )
It´s part of a bigger project for which I might create a thread soon.
