So I was working on this and my tablet pen spontaneously exploded (<-- exaggerated for dramatic effect)...
So now I'm stuck at this stage till the replacement arrives *sad face*
@Jonas Ronnegard
looks great - you could add a story with minimal effort. putting something at the top or let sit a desperate figure on the lower ledges
a sculpt just for fun - my little butterfly

Been working on a cyber turtle in my spare time (Based on a concept my Konstantin Maystrenko). Currently working on his gun and ammo backpack. You can tell he's cyber because things are glowing inexplicably :P
Going to stop polishing this guy for now but will come back later. On to another project.
The one detail I overlooked until just now, and am wow'ed by, is the fact that the knees are constructed in such a way as to give them "shock absorbers" there. A lot of thought went into form AND function on this one.
Looks great already! I also like all those painted in shadows a lot, are you painting directly on the model and if so what program are you using?
Thanks! Yes I'm using a combination of Blender to paint directly on the model and Krita for cleanup. I started painting with ZBrush but it didn't have the precision I wanted. I've also heard good things about 3D Coat, will probably try that for the next handpainted-style project.
@HowardDay
The aesthetics of your game are pure win. Will be playing it over the weekend.

Newer high poly image while I continue to work on the low. Is 14k alright for a low like this, ~nextgen~ FPS? It's for the portfolio only, but I'd like to at least look like I considered a budget. Right now it's around 12k, with a little more optimization to do and some pieces left, but there's a crap ton of cylinders and some fairly confusing shapes that I've struggled with when making the low poly as low as possible.

I really appreciate that Valandar:D. Yeah I try to make this stuff look like it works. I'm still learning:)
New member, long time lurker!
Time to finally start participating properly.
Finishing touches on the DCS: MiG-21 cockpit artwork. Very unhappy with certain parts; but they were a necessary evil due to old meshwork.
I LOVE this, 2 cool potential additions,
- Photos from home? Highschool sweetheart, something to add that extra personal touch.
- http://vimeo.com/94472991 - at 2.50 the rain on the cockpit screen is super convincing, if you could achieve something like that, it might add abit more drama to the scene and added realism.
heres a wip of my maleficent bust, the head still needs prosthetics adding and another pass at the likeness before some TB2 goodness may have got carried away with the anatomy base haha
So I think I have finished the sculpt now. any feedback would be great, I intend to do some really nice presentation at some point, here is an early quick test, not happy at all but it helps me understand what I want
This is my latest progress on the Decrepit Cellar environment I am working on. Comments and critique are most welcome.

Hey guys,
I'm a bit nervous to post this... It's my first post on Polycount and my first approach to PBR. I'm quite new to the industry. Hope you like it and thanks to all of you for the awesome work and inspiration you showed here. Would appreciate critics very much! Have a nice weekend :]
Here is a character that I have been working on. Render is flat lighting and the textures are about half done... Once she is finished I will be moving on to her crow minion.
