A bit more fun on this guy. The neck is looking a bit flat at the moment, and the damage in general needs a bit of work but I may or may not continue with him depending on my next idea.......or lack of idea.
@ duncan: cool work. Though he really needs some kind of zombie expression on his face in case you are taking it further. Great work!
I recently did a spaceship concept. It really needs some coloring. Maybe tomorrow.
Edit:
My testbake for a skull-pillar based on a darksiders2 concpet just finished! Taken from maya viewport with normals an ao applied and has about 1900 tris.
It needs some fixes here and there. I'll tweak the silhouette a bit further at the expense of a few polys.
Texture has visible seams because I tried to mirror 2 sides of the pillar althpugh my HP is not meant to be mirrored.
EtotheRic: Looking nice. I think he's tilted a little far back upstairs and I don't think there's enough room between ribs and hips. Here's a quick paintover
St4lis: I so seriously love those armies.
ScudzAlmighty: Your superman looks brilliant. His neck does stand out as a little too long. I love how you've done the face, very your style but really meaty.
Been working as a (student) Art Director for Core Overload, a game I've been working on for the past semester my Junior year at USC! Check out the art dump!
Crossposting from here. Still looking for someone to take over modular prop modelling due to my mediocre modelling skills. More info here: http://noctuelles.info/AEON
Hello everyone! Finally got permission to post some of the works I did on Red 5 Studio's Firefall. It's my first gig in the industry and I'm extremely happy to share them. Huge thanks to Polycount because it was through here I got recruited. :poly142: :poly121: :poly142:
Starting on a new portfolio- Almost done on the modelling front, this is the block out that will get tweaked for the low poly version. Aim is to do a fake game inspired by the Gymkhana vids- thinking along the lines of doing an isometric view but with the camera pulling in/out depending on the speed of the car like with old school GTA games. 4880 triangles in all so far.
having a look at p3d now and signing up there will be some issues here and there and unfinished bits (rear bumper, no suspension or brakes for instance) as I'm not finished but it'll be good to get another set of eyes on it
update: p3d is having a funny 5 mins, seems that it's not accepting my log in details, I've even changed my password and still no joy will post up more shots soon as I've done some more tweaking- rear bumper is not jutting out as much (was using a combination of the puma speed JWRC body kit, the S2000 kit and what I could make out in Gymkhana 5)

just trying out a zb render here, high poly is pretty much done, I'll add the suit pattern in ps for the low poly.
