I may call this done...I think...need to let it stew for a day and see if anything new bothers me. I had some awesome help from a coworker (Latasha Tobias) re-lighting the bust. I needed the instruction, lighting is not my strong suit . Did some PS cleanup to the image, mostly hair and some shadows. Otherwise it was rendered in Marmoset.
...unbelievable rikk - do you have a website or more work anywhere? ...would like to see more from you
Thank you Spatz! I don't have yet a personal website, I'm too busy with my job (I'm a game developer) so I make personal stuff just during holidays! :poly124:
I will make one eventually, thank you for the interest!:)
Rayph: Damn that is so cool, funny and disturbing at the same time. Superb linework! If you're planning to do more of these you should collect them in a thread.
Omg dude do his ears get UHF .LOl .Awesome stuff man .Plain awesome.I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw those .You need to do Dj jazzy Jeff and Uncle Phil man .
Worked up this one a bit more, another in my line to keep things from looking the same. These are just zbrush screengrabs, and the matcap shader isn't mine, I found it somewhere.
It's my buddies birthday in a few weeks and I modeled these guitar picks for him.
Gonna 3d-print them with Shapeways in either steel or plastic.
Not sure yet.

Finally got better and decided to practice some hard surface modelling. Decided to do the most commonly practiced asset to create, a fire hydrant!

Here is a character that I have been working on sparingly for the last few months. I have just finished stitching together the Normal and AO maps
Afisher: awesome! man, glad you posted that, cause that c-war thread passed me by.
1100 tris each, 512 diffuse only. Might rig up for some dance routines, if I get any more time after crits.
Something I've been working on to practice my hard surface skills, want to try and finish the neck + part of the chest this weekend
Trying to figure out a texturing style/visual target. May retop later today or tomorrow. Failing that, some other time...
