Been browsing around here for months but have never had the balls to post anything I've made, I am still so new to sculpting and 3d in general. I enjoyed working on this guy though so I thought i'd post and hopefully get some feedback. Thanks!
Getting into doing more 2d animation, this one I did to test out my new hotkey setup in Pencil2D
Try adding a frame for the last moment the creature is on the ground. I like seeing the ground/body interaction on what is now your last contact pose, but if you add a frame (on ones maybe) that shows the little guy the very instant he's leaving the ground, it might have a little more punch. Of course, it's possible you have that, and my computer is dropping the frame, if so ignore my advice!
I've been learning python for the last few weeks, and I love it, but man I have to model something. So I picked Sakura from Street Fighter. I've always thought that character was so out of place in the series. Really, I guess most characters are out of place in the series, but whatever. It gave me an excuse to model a Japanese school girl outfit. I'm struggling with the skirt. The pleats got smaller around the sides the way I modeled the base mesh, so I'm probably going to have to re-do that.
Diffuse and normals only, based on a concept by Dale Comte that got away from me. Didn't hit that quality bar I wanted to, lesson learned; use PROFESSIONAL concept art for best result. I am not competitive in that measure. Cant say I didn't learn anything though.
Next WIP, still working on likeness sculpt for Claire Holt - Hopefully will get there in the end maybe better when she has hair? Might create placeholder hair just to try and define her abit more... C&C Extremely appreciated
@ Dave Jr - I made a quick paintover since pictures are better than words in my opinion. I hope this helps. I'd also recommend maybe starting a thread or posting more images if you want better feedback. It's a bit hard to get feedback on this big thread.
I have only been learning to texture metals for a little while and trying out gloss maps for the first time. All feedback and thoughts are very welcome.
Still very much WIP on these guys. Changed the style of the boy to match the simpler style of the girl. Still jumping back and forth between these whilst I work on the Squirtle kid and Pikachu dog.
Oniram those are awesome, I want a house with that style of cladding.

First personal thing I've done in awhile. Saw some photography portraits on facebook and couldn't help myself. I mixed and matched features, and used photosource for the texture, and blended things a bit by hand. Took about 3-4 hours and I really enjoyed myself.
First post here, thought I show what I'm working on right now.
Critiques are most welcome.
Upload your images to a site like imgur.com and the copy and paste into your post that will it will show up bigger. There is gap right under her chin where you can see the grid/background and the eye lashes seem to be a little too uniform in length. remember women use mascara. Great job so far!
With all of the sci fi stuff in my portfolio I think it's a good time to start up some real world models. This guy is going to be a production model that I composite into live footage, so I'm going to be learning mari, nuke, vray and some tracking program on this one.

Ooh! This guy will look awesome once he's textured. Can't wait to see it.

@Draconius: Love the style.

I realized how bland the texture for the first one was.
wrapping this up, toolbag render and flat diffuse in maya:
Please do the whole character.

Nice update, maybe get a thread going on this for a bit more feedback , but I'm feeling dishonored a lot. Push it in that direction, great work!
