Took my high res model that i'm going to bake down into keyshot for some giggles, I feel like keyshot is cheating, get such cool results with like no time at all!
Makes me wanna go back and remodel specifically for keyshot
Just some tiled grated flooring as I warm up the old hard surface and tech gears for a collaborative scifi environment. Also, some modular vents I whipped up yesterday, kinda feeling they could have used a few more edges...
If anyone could please share some CC then it would be greatly appreciated finding it increasingly difficult to gain a likeness atm
EDIT: Feel like i've gone back a step.. so i'm going to reload my previous file (My last post here) and make some more subtle changes; also made a new mood board for reference.
So i did some more work on this guy i made a spec/gloss map for him and tried out some stuff i'm most probably going to redo the metal and a lot of other stuff haha but yea thanks for the crits they helped.
also my low poly hair brush for zbrush is almost ready for release, just need to make a quick vid to explain a few things but Ive fixed alot of stuff and got lots of extras in it that should be really cool to play with. Stuff like different resolution/thickness, short hair, facial hair etc. Also fixed an issue with verts not welding that was driving me insane haha. I'll do some tips and tricks aswell
heres the original vid if you missed it, in realtime aswell sorry
Not 3D in the virtual sense...but in reality. I've been working on this 1/8 r/c motorcycle from an open source project thread over at RC Groups. The purple parts are from Shapeways.
Awesome work here guys! Crazyfool: can't wait to try out that hair brush
So in the two weeks since I started this guy I've done a contract an art test and finished a personal piece but I've got some time again and did a bit more:
Fnitrox nice noob challenge, it looks very soft and nice, that first shot I would say is the weakest though could perhaps put more stuff in the background?
Amazing robot zxcman very inspirational, if I ever do anything character related I would imagine something similar to that
Viking throne next, the balls are placeholders for dragons which will hopefully have their tails wrapped around the chair.

X-posting an anatomy study from my thread:
I'm still on blocking stage so some parts are placeholders. Any feedback is welcome!
nice folds on the pants...can you do a small video of your process?
and here is my current progress on the model
I modified the reflected plastic matcap I think to look less plastiqc. But the overall bust still looks a bit plastic, like a miniature I guess.
Can you show us the wires?
This is looking pretty sweet, can't wait to see how this turns out!

@Stuey : the concept is really cool, but I think the 3D model doesn't make it justice, you could maybe put some work in it ^^.

That´s no HAIII :P
Nice EG6, did you built it with SubD and collapsed it with some clean up or it's full polygonal modeled?

Full polygonal modeling! Started with a sort of lowpoly model and started to smooth it out afterwards
