I do want to ask. It looks like you set up your face with a couple extra bits of geometry. Specifically I'm noticing right on the bottom corner of the eye you have a sort of diamond shape, and I'm curious what it's there for. Based on the quality of the model, I'm making the assumption it's serving a very specific purpose, yes?
Hey Xelioth, Glad you like it.
As for the face geo, yeah from a theoretical game view.... probably not necessary. However, when panning around the model I think it helps round out the eye socket shape slightly. Sure, it breaks the flow of quads but at 2K Triangles it's just going to happen.
Bigglesworth this is some sexy work there
Special thanks to Pier-Luc Poulin for the amazing custom rig and to Moritz Mayer (KnechtRuprecht) fellow polycounter for letting me use his rifle model.

My esmy sculpt for cryamore has finally been printed up and is now ready to be painted before going into full production! The guys at Ownage have done a phenominal job! Really looking forward to seeing her on my desk!! She's 9.5 inches tall!
Cremuss Thank you!! Jmiles Is ''Marry'' me? If so I wasn't sure because it's spelled Marie, Thank you!
Edit, and you just fixed it so this comment made no sens hahaha
Hazardous, amazing work as usual! The print turned out great!!
I believe I'm done with the modelling. My first project working with any sort of cloth details, and while I don't think it's perfect in the least, I'm at least happy with how it turned out overall. Future projects I'm gonna apply what I've learned here and go further with my understanding of how it all works.
Tinkered with the UV's to allow for more texture res, pretty much textured now, going to work on the rusty elements a little more before placing in the environment and polish the texture more..
@Dee that's a great model but the amount of noise in the texture is ruining the asset imho! You might wanna try and remove all noise from the difuse, and move it to the spec and gloss instead, make the surfaces more readable.
I'm also having difficulties reading what kind of materials is this made of, you need a good gloss map for a model like this, make the rubbery areas look like rubber and the glass reflect a bit, etc.
Here's a statue prop for my next level. Sculpted in zbrush textured in photoshop and rendered in Marmoset, about 9500 polys. Trying to get better at texturing, comments and critiques welcome Keep up the hard work, don't give up!
