School assignment, old evil doctor! First time doing a character for real in zbrush so much is learning the different tools! Will doing some on the cloth and then put more detail in the face/hair. If you have some input, just PM would be nice to get feedback
Love coming here for inspiration everyday. So much great artwork! First time posting, here's a character I'm currently working on. Any feedback welcome!
I'm gonna call this done! Was a fun little exercise
Just one weird thing is happening, and I'm still pretty new to zbrush rendering.. but what is up with these white edges appearing, mainly around her skirt and hair?
@yeluis - Looks great! The only issue I see is where the bases of the handles at the side join the wood, they intersect quite..gamesily..it would be great to either get some contact AO or some normal detail where the edges meet. Otherwise, fantastic job.
Been working on another BMX for a personal project ive been putting together over the last few weeks, less old school than the last one.
And I revisited the BMX I originally made to fix up some issues, tighten up the graphix and conform the graphic design to the rest of the project.

Hello This is a SciFi Submarine that I'm doing for a contest. I would greatly appreciate your feedback/critique. Some parts of the ship seem bare to me however adding detail without ruining the design or turning it into "noise" seems to be the challenge.

Just released the game me and my brother have been working for a while.
Not a unique art style, nor a new genre, but a "standard" medieval/fantasy made as fast (I mean cheaper) as we could.

Slowly crafting my arm of food robots to bring me the strange foods i crave at all hours of the night <__<. Def inspired by awesome concepts from Sergi Brosa.
Kot_Leopold: love both of them, i would only say they need to feel like they have actual meat in their bones, like the chick is the one i notice the most where she is very sculptural and you cant really feel the weight of the skin and stuff (then again it might be a stylistic choice) great work nonetheless.
still pushing ahead with the robot but its taking forever, meanwhile i been messing with the new update for marmoset that finally has anysotropic shader and its looking insane. all the new features are really nice
If I do put characters in they would have to be Chihiro and No-Face.
No-Face, I think I could definitely handle that pretty easily... Chihiro, it's been a long time since I've tied to do a human character...
One big thing to keep in mind about cloth, I think, is if you make the inner detail too even in size or placement, you begin to lose interest quickly. Compare this paintover to yours to see what I mean:

That's a really good suggestion! I'll see about redoing it with that in mind.

actual mental ray lighting this time
This is a fantasy Character I've been slowly working on bit by bit.
I'm about done with the clothing block in and want to start moving on Details.
I'm not thrilled with the cloth folds so I will probably rework those soon.
Thanks for checking it out and if you have any comments or ideas feel free to let me know.
I'd love to see some characters in here!
Nice man, really like this. Great idea.
Here's some low poly grass with some extras added. Crits on this would be great before I chuck it on my site. Grass has always been awkward for me:P
Thanks everyone
[HP]: glorious

Finally started my sketchbook, first image is poor Greedo fan art
Bernaz's Stuff
Kot_Leopold: Really nice male head! Solid sculpt! I don't like the hair on the woman though.. Feels messy compared to the other high quality stuff!
Some more progress from my blocking out:
I tried to code a match-3 once... no success, I'm weak hehe

I'm basing it off this.
Not sure if I like the wrap around the neck. Still getting a feel for doing cloth in general.
