While the most of it looks pretty good, the flow of the maille on the coif just rips me out of immersion.
Maile has a direction it MUST go - if it hangs the wrong way, it effectively locks up and becomes not only harder to move in, but actually slightly less protective. This is an example of how the maille on a coif SHOULD hang:
Your coif looks like you simply pasted the maille pattern over UV's without actually paying attention to how it's supposed to be.
Hi there ! I continued to trained myself using nDo2 and dDo making a friend for the guitar, it's not alone anymore ! It is not a final render (I'm not very happy with it so far, I keep it for later) but just a preview because I'm going to add more stuff in order to create a little scene.
About nDo2 and dDo, it's awsome, the day the training licences end, I'll buy both ! Thanks Quixel !
Posted this over in the Toolbag 2 beta thread, figured I'd post it here since it's a work in progress. It's the high poly rendered in Toolbag 2! ...About 3.5 million triangles.

Thanks! I use a capture card called, Live Gamer HD: http://www.avermedia.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=571
It has its limitations, but I've found that it works a lot better for me than other solutions like FRAPS/Camtasia. Or maybe I was just using those programs the wrong way!

Beautiful concepts.
Been making a few weapons similar to this style.
I rarely post in this thread but I've got this character I'm working on so I figured I might as well get some critique.
Inspired by Rango and Shaggy.
I'm not sure how I should do his scales, if at all. I was thinking of possibly some "patches" of scales rather covering his whole body.
@twoflower: nice style, love it!
Here is some progress on the head refinement.
