Woho long time no post.
So I've been working on this gun for the past week. Made from a Gears of War concept.
I'm pretty happy with the result so far, but should probably do some optimizing (about 9k tris now). And I might tweak the shader and textures some more.
Used DDO for some of the texture, awsome software!.
And it's rendered in UDK.
i normally dont get excited about weapons or guns... but DAMN this came out DOPEEEEE

Ok so its been a long time since I posted anything here, I promise to keep my act together and be... well more active. Here is a creature I am working on, its based of a Yangq design. Just working on the main forms at the moment, the armor is very placeholder for now but you get the idea where it's going have a good night polycounters

piece of lol art i got to help with. I got to do the first pass on the texture, a lot of iterations followed that worked with him best. model done by josh singh!
Here's the 99% done model. I think I might do one or two lighting touch-ups, but I don't believe that I'll be changing much from here since with all the extra hair bits it's starting to get up there in render time, this was about 1.5 hours.

Finished up my knight bust sculpt, minus the hair I might try something similar to the hair techniques shown a few pages back. Learned a lot about how the make my sculpts look a cleaner. Retopo and such next, I'm open to critiques too!

Wicked stuff going on in here! Managed to spend a little time on my reaper during the weekend, Still needs some topology polish but its getting there.

Normalmaps have some small bugs, but I'll go over the map properly when it's all in final stages!
