Here's a work in progress shot of my Fighter's entry, Female Devil Jin!
I just started blocking things out, trying to see how I can display the wings without taking too much space..
Do you guys think I should demonize her more? or keep her pretty? Let me know what you guys think, or if you have any suggestions!
I've been working lately on a base mesh for a women and I thought it would be nice to share it with you guys.
It's not the greatest flow out there and ofc it still has some issues...but overall i think it's decent enough.
I hope you will find it useful.
Progress shot. Unsure if I prefer the green or red shirt, what do people think? Need to finish the boots, gonna give him a weapon(thinking a machete), a backpack and some more accessories as well as more texture work
Hey guys, been working on re-designing the Ogrim character from Morrowind. The work is for a Skyrim Mod and still needs to be tested in game. I am working as part of a team called Northpoint. I am still not too happy with the renders but i guess its still a WIP.
I wish it was easier to render through Zbrush... lights are such a pain. If anyone can recommend a good mat cap for head sculpts please throw it my way
So the High poly work is done. I just wanted to throw this up and see if anyone can spot something to fix that I'm not seeing before I start retopoing the areas that need it. Some of the geo is lowpoly cause I'm designing her for pre-render, unless I change my mind later on >_>, so ignore that please.
ISmokeRodeo : Thanks! glad you like it. I spent a couple mornings wandering through central London with my camera stealthily taking photos of people. The city has such a diverse range of people to draw inspiration from! I studied from the photo and tried to express the subtle body language from that moment.
Started learning sketch up over the weekend... it feels really weird coming from 3DS Max, but I think it'll be really fast once I get more mileage in! Here are a few sci-fi buildings... was going for aesthetics over functionality, not happy with their designs but nice to try a different process.
@ZErogun you have to much noise on the metal parts. And present sculpt in Matcap White or Grey, it'll looking better.
And you can define edges more on metal parts: use trim dynamic or something. Did you saw the tutorial "Tresure Chest" on some sites? (I can't remember wich it was ). Sorry for PRO english
Finished sculpting this guy. made the low poly, baked and diffuse texture today. Still gotta do a separate texture for Leaves/branches/old mans beard with alphas.

cg-sammu - good start. Lovely face.
Since I didn't found any good picture of myself, I decided just to make some sort of portrait in a 3D cartoony style.

Here's an update on my expressions. Calling it kinda done, for now anyways. Crits are always welcome.
Excellent, love the facial expressions. Natural and not forced, very unique.
