Imagine the birds animating and the fog/mist gently drifting across the land, maybe some subtle dust particles creating movement in the air and inviting menu sounds as you select your option...
this is amazing!
I know is just a concept, but I wanna play it just by that main menu!
Fu*k me there is some cool work going down here! I have been slacking and haven't posted for ages! Anyway here are some things that I have been doing during lunchtimes, I will finish them all off at some point...
Orphaned and abandoned on the fringes of the Nightsilver Woods, Waldi was rescued by a reclusive band of rangers and trained in the ways of war. Waldi is often underestimated by his foes, but his unassuming appearance belies his relentless tenacity and unfailing loyalty. He is a worthy courier and companion for the mightiest of warriors, a true dog of duty.
Recently I was asked to create a low poly version of the Leatherback Kaiju from the film Pacific Rim for a mini game in the PlayStation 3 HOME square. He was to fight against Gipsy Danger. To do this I was given a turntable video of the original Kaiju model and the actual 3D model which was used for the film. This was over 7 million polygons, so extremely detailed - too detailed for a video game model, especially one for use in Home! So I looked at the film model as a reference and guide and built the low poly version from that. I managed to get him down to under 15,000 polys in the end.
He was modelled using a combination of ZBrush and Maya 2013 and I polypainted the textures in ZBrush and finished them off using PhotoShop. He has 2 x 512 colour maps, 2 x 512 Normal Maps and 2 x 256 Specular Maps as he appears very large in the game as in the films.
This version is in his 'T-pose' ready for animating for use in the game. He was rendered using Maya and Mental Ray. Eventually I will try and do some renders of him in some animated action poses.

Here's a updated version of my Beretta. I fixed the hand guard issues as well as added some bevels. I had some issues with dDo crashing every half hour. I think i'm calling this one done for the time being, I need to move onto another project.

I'm new here and I don't know how to post a thread regarding symmetry issue in zbrush 4r5.
The issue is inequality in pulling/pushing, when I use Clay buildup brush on left hand side less mesh is added on the left hand side and mode mesh is added on the right hand side.
Attached is the image for better reference.
Please help ASAP!
Long time lurker. First post
Been working on this for my portfolio.
Admired the art style of the movie "Oblivion" so decided to create Jack Harper's Rifle.
Final Bliss sculpt for the Cryamore Kickstarter - She will be produced as a 10" desktop collectible along with her Sister Esmy, If you happened to back that kickstarter to the level of getting both figures, gratz - this badboy will be on your desk soon!
I will be making a interactive 360 of this model over the next few days
A very optimized room with realtime reflections I have been working on with Unity. Webplayer link
This is insane. It does indeed run remarkably smooth. I love the realism of the scene, nothing dilapidated or warlike or fantastic - just a simple room. And the fairly subtle treatment of materials pushes this so so far. What's the secret?
