I'm mostly using an inflate brush on a low intensity with the Rick Backer alphas he posted years ago.
Sometimes I'll also use the Gnomon alphas from Aaron Sims but the Baker ones are simple and clean and give good results... I still could have done a better job to be honest lol but oh well... next time
Man you've really stepped up your game on this one. Love the painterly rendering of the background. Contrasts nicely with the space ship. The ship might be a bit noisy for my taste, mostly due to all the harsh angles it's built up by, but still you do a nice play with light, bringing the frost forwards with warmer colors and vice verse.
I suppose the ship is modeled? Would love to see some breakdown of the image construction.
Nice work everyone, just wow....must get better :P
Can't remember where (think Deviantart) but saw something that inspired me, just playing around with some ideas. I don't illustrate it well but I would like to have the curtains going from the window and flow down in with this women (or curtains form silhouette of a women walking).

Thanks. I dunno what the ship specs were for it's design though, I only painted this for an illustration.
You may want to send you critique to Ryan Church. He did the concept for the Mark IV this is based on. I did the painting though!
Worked on a stylized monster skull tonight, some references from here but mostly anatomical nonsense. Also my first time working with Zbrush's best preview render.
Imagine the birds animating and the fog/mist gently drifting across the land, maybe some subtle dust particles creating movement in the air and inviting menu sounds as you select your option...
Hi everyone! Really great stuff on the last pages!! Really inspiring to see everyone's work ^_^ I continue to practice myself with zbrush and anatomy too so I did a female torso sculpt:
Love the unique forms and styles for each of your masks, they all have a similar theme of being mech-centric and tough but each of them shows a different style or characteristic imo, or maybe its just me trying to interpret different characteristics for each mask cuz they look good
Btw was it by intention or just an accident that you to made a ">.<" esque-emote for top 3rd?

She's a dark elf, hence the odd proportions.

Here's my EARTH zone concept for Substrata... I turned it into a title screen.
