So.. I've been working on a father time character. This is the 'lowpoly' (animation purposes, not game-optimised) mesh with the displacement maps applied. Still a lot of sculpting work to do though.
Fairly early sculpt of cthulu. Probably to early to post, but I am new to the forum and forums in general, so I am just trying to get involved. Let me know what yall think.
lotet: love that char! Feels very believable (esp. for a female char)
was able to quickly load the old level heightmap into world machine and create a new diffuse. Also the resolution is twice the resolution of the old level texture. (That is of course not a result of the world machine setup. The old texture could use twice it's size too)
What I really like here is that wold machine allows to import, alter and selectively change an already existing hightmap and/or create an fantastic diffuse out of it.
Started animating about 8 months ago during my final year at University. This is some of the work during this time, also learning rigging as useful extra knowledge for animation.
Man, I just lost an hour going through all of the pages of art! Great stuff, everyone! I'm currently working on a house. It's built for Unity, but I'm currently rendering with VRay as a temporary fix until I finish all of the modeling/texturing. Keep posting more, everyone!
Hi there, here is a new marmoset capture of my WIP freely inspired by DeusEx artwork mixed with high dose of mythology the table is almost over now. I'll create the large emissive surfaces later. I'll move to the other assets of my scene for now.
Tweaking all weekend to get this render for Esmyt setup. FUUUUU time to finaly let it roll... going to take about 24 hours to render out the full interactive spin! She will be being made into a 10" statue. Man I can't wait to see how she turns out!!
Have recently gone back to an older piece of mine, trying to improve it further for my showreel, still some things i want to do with it before i call it done.
+Create some clouds up top --> add some moving/roiling clouds!!! (Edge of thundercloud)
+Make some variation for the debris
+Movement in the field/make some crops?
+Create the wires between poles and have them swing a bit in the wind
-improve env art (tree models/ground textures/house/car models/horizon line)
BONUS POINTS:
+Have the tornado move across the terrain (from the road) such as : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNgH3Vgnas8
+Tear up the house!
+Show the tornado forming and or dissipating
+Raindrops on camera/fake car/storm chasers dashboard with storm map on a laptop? Overkill.
+Lightning?
I have an Axe here, that I just finished. It took about an hour to create and an hour to texture. I'm also attaching a piece of environment art I did recently, which took just a bit longer to texture.
Any feedback would be awesome. I'm having a heck of a time trying to determine what I may not be doing well in some of my artwork, so feel free to be critical, while respectful. Thanks.

xvampire,
Very nice work! You have a talent for sculpting the body where it doesn't look overdone on the muscles, yet the attention to anatomy really shines.
abused skateboard, thinking of calling this done and goin on to the next project
