Have been working on this guy for a long time now. Still got a lot left to do when it comes to rigging, skinning and animating him. Hopefully I can call him done sometime in the future hehe
Finished the body of the model I'm working on, later i'm gonna build the armor on top of the body, im thinkin of something like the engineer of prometheus and the witchblade
Hey guys this is my first post. I'm 20 from Vancouver and I'm trying to build a portfolio. This is Odin, its my final project for school.
I love the work from this community, this thread alone is full of beautiful eye candy. Are most of the people on polycount professionals? I almost feel unworthy of posting haha.
Cleaned up the scene (it was a mess, nothing named, no history deleted, all that jazz), re-uved several assets, shaded and lit this "SAW" bathroom. Done in Maya and PS.
A bit embarassed to be posting in amongst all this awesome, but I've hit a wall on this guy where I'm noodling rather than making meaningful changes/fixes. Thus:

The real purpose of doing this guy is learning how to setup materials for rendering assets as I feel Im not quite "selling" my stuff right now.
