Hey Jonathan, a friend a work just sent me a link to this, and I love the design. A couple of us noticed the head and neck looked a bit large/long though if you consider her body under the bulky clothing (I lightened the space between her torso and arms to show it more clearly). Otherwise I really dig the design and painting! Attached a quick paintover below.

nick!: I think the darkness under the arm is from a cape... though I could be wrong. It helps the silhouette, imo
Yeah totally, I know it was the cape and could be left dark in the final; I was just lightening it to better show how small her body was relative to her head/neck.
Very cool Trevor. Love how it looks!
Which method did you use to add the bolts to the structure? I was in a similar situation and I would like to see if there is an easier way than just add them one by one
I've only started the interior for the train I've been working on. Here's where tonight leaves it. I'm intending to texture the high-poly fully and bake the maps directly from that .... for fun of course. Designing as I go so changes are likely.
Scott: man that big daddy came out ace, after rich chimed in on the cloth I thought it best to leave you in his hands rather than spoil everything with a dodgy paintover....enviro that he's sitting in is looking amazing too!
work has been taxing of late ....found time to get the torso baked down with some base colour slapped on too, sitting at about 6700 tris with a 2k atm.
Here is a speed sculpt I just finished. I tried to record it but the file screwed up. First time using dynamesh aswell and really love it. Took me 1hour and 30mins, and here is a quick render with the image I based the sculpt on. Image is called Happy Kid
Moof - Thanks man! I cant wait to see him moving either, s'gunna be cool
Stoop_Kid - ahh cheers dude, love the Art test, the bust in the middle of her chest (the lion, not the titties ) looks amazing!
@Miche - Yeah, you're right.. (how did I miss that) the hands are very dainty compared to the rest of this hulking laviathan! Ill fix it asap. Thanks for taking a look man, glad you like it!
@Seth - Thanks Mr Nash! Cheers for the help, definately great having so many talented artists on my facebook willing to lend a hand. Looks like you got the cloth down on your character first try, He looks awesome. Love the taped up knuckles.
More progress on the Bioshock scene, sorry to be a douche, but crossposting this from my thread!
Looks great, but it bears a striking resemblance to ilomilo.
I know. It isn't my intetion to copy ilomilo. I can't help it, if it reminds of ilomilo. I've had the idea for this game for a long time, it's a basically a sokoban clone : move blocks, solve puzzles. I wanted the game look dreamy with "a fake dof (blurry bg)" and with a cute characters. I've never played ilomilo, but when I saw the first gameplay video from ilomilo, I was like f*ck, I making the same game. But this game is still only a wedding present for my sister, so I don't really care if it looks like a ilomilo clone. If the final game reminds too much ilomilo I won't release it public.
The buildings i made, are for a RealTime Browsergame
- imagine 30k People Playing like an big Age of Empires..
I don't have any concept/or restrictions, its just blocking out and modeling
through my mind - i really enjoy that kind of freedom.
I think i will dedicate this work a thread soon
I like it but the problem i have is with the bolts,i wouldnt see those types of bolts used on a vehicle that is meant to be fast because of its negative effect on the vehicle's aerodynamics.
Ok im pretty much over this model haha need to move on then come back to it later might do a poly paint tonight at some point and fix the feathers on the arrows

I love it! Keep it up.
What's this for if you don't mind me asking? Haven't been following the thread lately.
Cheers,
Nick
