passerby: I had a few shapes in mudbox that I created. But World Machine changed things enough to where I wondered if it was worth it. Sometimes I would bring it back into Mudbox to smooth areas out and add more detail where I want. For example... flatten to grass area. You can do that in World Machine too using the masks, but its easier to just do it quickly in mudbox.
another update on my udk environment, small update atm, upped the detail in the center area, added some central plates and ridges on the top and base. Also ditched some fires and increased the power of the furness lights around the outside.
Started off as Superman... Then became SuperHulk... but now it is back to just plane old Superman. Started texturing, need to paint out that Cape seam and move the logo a bit higher.
Started tonight and tbh i cant tell what it looks like any more haha i cant move on to detailing untill its atleast close to the original so if any one would like to tell me whats wrong with it that would be helpfull THANKKKKKKKKKKKsss

TehSplatt: Man, is looking pretty good. I made a dirty and quick paintover, showing what I think that could be improved to make the piece even better. Hope it can be useful.
Awesome F... Environment yo .I remember seeing that concept on here or on google .I was going to model it but I am not much of an environment modeler .This turned out so good .Really makes me think of some sort of space weed .LOL .Or totaly hydroponic chronic .You did a really great job .The only thing I am not to excited about is the main monster there .Just looks a bit undetailed .Overall though so good man .
Looking great TehSplatt. I'd also suggest taking it into another app and having a look at it with a 'proper' 3D camera. Jramauri's paintover seems pretty comprehensive though.

Thanks man. I can always go back to the monster and polish it up, but got to move on,
Small comment... looks like you have point lights above those two panel lights on the ground. While those long reflections are always dope, they just dont make much sense there. Maybe some subtle dust particles instead?
jramauri I tryed to take on every thing in your paint over but im pretty tired haha i can still see the head shape isnt curvy and all that but its 5 in the morning so it can wait haha any ways this is my rough detail pass left side of the face is done real rough

Great work.. The likeness is really coming together. Where did you get the ref from? Either way you are smashing it. I really wanna see more.
Here's a sculpt of the statue i'm going to use for my spark of imagination re-make (although that name now holds no meaning for the scene it's so far gone from that idea lol)
it's an 'engineer' from prometheus as i think that's the most fitting character for a statue in this scene.
Trying to learn to unwrap and texture better, like 40 minutes for the model, but yeah nothing special, time to texture, 930 polys:P
I'd like to point out that it is based of a super boring ref.

I went back to this scene after getting a DX 11 card to test out the new reflections and decided to do another pass at the lighting.

Just cross posting here (really new to this place just following what TehSplatt has been telling me to do)
This is what I'm working on right now - just starting to detail it and clean it up some.
Critiques welcomed!
