Hey all! First time posting in here but I thought I'd share this guy...Finally got around to starting the low poly version of my Rhino Retiarius sculpt. This is just the first pass of normal mapping. Still a lot to tidy up but I'm pretty pleased with the bake so far.
Watching the incredible art from Blur on the swtor cinematics, I asked myself if I had the skills to make a similar character at least 30% as good as theirs.

rynomite: The Rhino kicks ass! Very well done! However, I think the Lion shoulder pad lets the rest of the character down. The Lion looks a bit droopy.
Here's few assets from my Dungeon Corridor environment..
Just wip diffuse maps for now, im going to iterate on them more. And do other thingies. Baby steps.. baby steps..
Looking really nice Motenai, Rhynomite, cmc444, and all you pc peeps!
I'm trying to practice keeping textures sexy at lower resolutions:
The Lantern is shown at 256 and 512 textures inc. chain, and the bow and arrow is at256x512 res.

This is a WIP of a project I'm working on. Most of this was done over the weekend. It's pretty early on and I am getting the modular pieces in there for now. I will be breaking it up a bit more with the shapes after I get some stuff built up. With that said, critiques are welcome.
Yeah, does it show too much? I've been trying to work out a method for painting realistic skin, with blemishes etc, but it's hard to match some of the photo to texture stuff.

Atta boy! I think your textures are coming along great, but they still feel like they have been baked and are using the overlays more than they should be. (I know the tricks you be using ;P) Get in there and do some dirty work! Paint up some variation and imply a little more light around the highlights. I would also scale up the arrowhead tip, just to give it a little more style-ization! I think if you did a target board or something you could get a cool little scene out of these. Keep it up!

I thought it is highpoly. I'm hammered.
I'm not really a character artist, so someone take this and run with it.
Just be sure to make him a bad-ass.
@ Alphavader: That looks ACE!
@ rynomyte: AWESOME! He has such a good weight about him and I am digging the proportions too.
More shit from me. Started making a Basketball player....I think. He is still Dynamesh. Just playing with proportions.
I am keen to see more rads from everyone please.

I'm thinking I need to squish his head a touch...
He has gotten more defined arms and his fingers now look like fingers instead of sausages...
Might start re-topo fun soon.
MrNinjutsu great Aba Fan Art!
I'm going on with my drawing practice.
I made Urania, the muse of astronomy and philosophy for my Myth and Symbols class.
The hair and dress was done with zSketch that I later ClayPolished and went over with Clay and DamStandard.

I've never seen that movie, but Google image search seems to think that it looks right.
@chimp: Really loving that pixel-art
Here's a face I doodled yesterday. Spent about an hour or two today to give him a texture.
