Unexpected surprises are both surprising and excellent.
While testing out a screen overlay in Unity, I happened to walk out of the enclosed forest I was using, and into a canyon area where I could see the skybox, which I hadn't seen at all after adding said overlay:
@Bill Lowe I really dig the style for the model, You might however consider working on the character weight, feels very floaty at times, like hes in the water. Also On the third exsample I would rethink how he is swinging, seems like the sword is not at enough of an angle for him to actually cut anything.
Here is a little doodle, nothing serious, a flying cardboard box, named the Box of Shame, which is an inside here at my college... whatever, i had fun doing this haha.
Don't know or just can't link my vimeo video, so just clic on the image to watch it in motion !
It's 112 polys, some wireframe for whoever might be interested. Never really did a cardboard box before, so it's a little study a the same time.
This flooring is looking pretty sweet, I enjoyed the little viewport play session. But I also caught something which I wanted to point out:
Your bricks are all flush and angled the exact same way -> like they were placed by a laser guided sensor with just the right amount of grout to keep everything perfect 500 years later. To fix it you need to do a couple things - first vary the shape of the brick slightly (even if you're going for square bricks, they shouldn't be perfect); and second vary the angle which they are sitting in the ground, I'm talking around 1% or so, but each brick different. This will cause light to "bounce" off the surface in a less uniform way and will make the bricks look like they have 'settled' over time - its especially important with cracked off sections of brick.
You also may want to push and pull the general height of your bricks, or vary up the amount of damage across the faces of the bricks more -> that depends more on the level of use for these bricks you're going for.
(none of these images are mine, just did a google search on 'castle floors' and 'settling bricks')
Also I think that one crack which spans 3 bricks is a little too perfect, the crack should jump locations (if only slightly) when it transitions from brick to brick.
And dirty this spit polished floor up! ; )
Is look nice buw would like to have have cradit given =(. Looks good tho. But rally yu should credit me & faerien too... like he say split credit becuz he shod credit.
Made a smallish sci-fi scene to show at our school's exhibition/self-promotion thing. Not quite finished, but I submitted it like this 'cause I ran out of time. Any c&c is welcome before I put it on my actual portfolio though.
Hi everyone, here's a sculpt I created recently, which was sculpted in Zbrush and rendered using Keyshot. I know this is quite a games orientated site, but I'm lucky enough that I create game characters for a living and so I needed to just have some care-free fun with Zbrush in my free time.
Anyway, I hope you like and any C&C are more than welcome.

PS. You did forget te logo of valve on the side, but still good moddel!
I would give credit, but i won't. I never ever seen your box, it's not inspired at all by your stuff, and anyway, you should check your typo (And your art too, this stuff is kinda creep). My box is inspired on a real life box we made at my college, for fun, with scissors and a sharpie, 3 years ago.
I always give credits when it's appropriate, this is not. Sorry.
Anyway, it's a box with holes, i am not, and you are probably not, the first one to do this. Don't know if your are trolling or just high.

Here are some examples of brick roads/floors/tiles which all have the two properties discussed above (in varying amounts):

I dont normally pose any of the stuff I do, so I tried to put a scene together of a speed sculpted creature.
I tried to approach it like a gesture drawing, so the anatomy is a bit all over the place - loads to learn

Speedsculpt is in my [thread=97918]sketchbook[/thread].
