I'm continuing on with the high res model of my BMW R-71.. I've been modeling up the engine over the weekend. There are still a few wires missing here and there, but I figure'd I would control them better w/ shapes in Max.. The whole body was build in Zbrush.. I don't have ha thread for the whole thing yet, but I"ll post up when I get more progress
^^^ Oh man, that's pretty sweet! One crit I have is that his run animation leading up to the jump looks a little tip-toey. It would be cool if there was some sort of blend between a solid run cycle and then an almost stutter step before he leaps into his dive. But cool project!
I am currently working on a "vertical slice" of what would be a dungeon-oriented RPG. Here are a coupe sculpts for some of the assets I've been working on:
Tiling wall to line the crypts with.
Entrance to the cave that begins the adventure.
Rock sculpt to be used as decoration in the cave as well as scaled to use for the walls.
Nice one bret, I'd change his eye shape to match the concept, more attitude! Unless you planned on doing this in the low of course He also looks very 'straight' from the side, make sure you get those nice bends in the legs etc from the concept.

sweet work massbot, maybe the crease on th front of his trousers is a little harsh considering how distressed they look? Its a tiny niggle in an awesome piece though.

Man, that body is pretty darn perfectly sculpted. I love it. Beautiful forms, beautiful concept. Ah, put it into a huge environment in UDK, and I'll lose my mind.
cmc444: Beautiful work on the statue. Really like the wierdness of the hands reaching from what I assume is some kind of void. Only thing might be the eyes. It looks like the eyeball is placed to high in relation to the lids. Needs to go down a bit on the outer parts.
Will you take this further to beauty shot?
AimBiZ I agree now that I look again at her eyes. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with this. I am thinking of turning it into a statue and importing it into UDK and then maybe building a little shrine around her. Still not sure yet though.
@JohnnySix nah im actually quite a newbie in programming - started a year and a half ago doing some stuff. at the moment i work with unity - like most people i guess.. but maybe i should look into native programming as well some day
