meshiah: Kickass! I could totally have me some more views of that critter.
Some critter bust to kick back from all this coding I'm doing the past few weeks. I may finish this guy up pretty good and have him printed. Quite heavily inspired by Maarten Verhoeven's work (mutte on the webz).

I don't know how, but I'm sure you're cheating :shifty:

got some animations done on my monster hunter inspired drag..erm, wyvern was it?
I've left it for about a week or so, came back to it tonight..just tweeked some stuff, still see some shitty parts (like the tail in the take off, some clipping in the walk and such). but I'll see what gets past you guys ;D feedback will be reviewed and possibly used to improve something
just rendered out from motionbuilder, plan to present it in UDK, as is the norm these days I assume :P
schebbe -> i like the blue one, you can already tell about the environment he lives in.
also the purple fella is kinda interesting. Something you don't see everyday.
thatanimator -> pretty damn good! there is way to few animators around here. keep it up
That's looking pretty nice man. Huge respect for good animators, good animation can make or break a gameplay experience for me and that I wouldn't mind having in one of my games. Good job capturing the monster-hunter-esque type feel, too.
As usual some really amazing works in this thread! :poly122:
I`m just trying to make a new Env scene quickly in Cryengine3.. this is day 3 progress. Converting the blockout into some proper geo. once its all in then its making all the props.
in the home stretch for now, needs a more diverse variety of foliage, need to set up my vertexpainting materials and tweak some textures and add some more models!

Also, I've not yet modeled a barrel. Do I win, or am I a failure as a 3D artist?

That is one beautiful render!
that is an incredibly appealing style. Is it just the head, or did you make a body as well?
You can see it in the background.
Looking Really nice!

Here is my Gears of war 3 fan art. Really fun gun to work on so far.
wicked
BrianP: looks great man. the marmo render looks a bit washed out though, I´d give it a wee bit more *pop" personally
Screbbe: I like the first one the best my self. Great design btw.
Kodde: oooh, dig the look of those shader settings.
suburbbum: looks great, reminds me a littlebit of Section 8 as well. (durr edit fix)
Maph: great bust
Kodde, those shaders look sick.
not mine, i just quoted it :P
BrainP: any pic with more natural light? looks cool
from my M4 thread :P
Lovely job on this, but get rid of that heavy post processing and give us some nice, clean renders .
ill post it in my thread from now on to avoid too much reposting.

Note: I'm still getting my feet wet with Digital painting, so please forgive the non-awesomeness of this post.

Green for sure. Absolutely green.
Great style.
