Sesandu_C: reminds me of Mr Fishbowl from starwars.
Here's what i've been working on, new lighting in the scene and some more graffiti, also another panorama. ot round to doing the tumbler UVs and a few asic textures to, still need to brighten it up though.
Impala88 - I don't know... maybe more like hammerhead or ackbar... but he is different from them, mine kicks ass and take names XD
Anyway I'm not just a sculpting junky... I like my polygon modeling too... so here is something I worked on.
FirstKeeper: nicely finished! oh and awesome work with your
Anyone got any preference? it is actually suppost to be for a flashlight/single shot recharge energy weapon/tool.
lovely work as always everyone!
if it's mean to be a tool primarily you would do well to go with some of the less totally gun-like forms. this is the reason tazers don't have quite gunlike form factors
i enjoy 9, but 13 and 14 are also worth developing
i'm still working on the pedestal to present the thing, the texture on it is just a preliminary tileable texture with just diffuse and normal.
the roadblock is a bit iffy here and there but you don't really notice so that's not too bad
all in all i'm pretty happy about this, but now I have to get it into an engine and present it properly. turns out cryengine 3 and UDK are both amazing, but presenting something in them is an art in itself.
edit:
scene in UDK i've been working on using the assets i had already created for my deus ex scene, which, btw, i'm not sure of if I can finish before I really need to start sending out my portfolio...
fearian - Hi, I don't have a concept, just modeling on the go and some trial error, though inspiration comes mostly from mouse guard comic and musketeer.:)
Finally getting around to throwin' this piece on my portfolio site where it will look low res and a bit sh*tty.
Some parallaxed background art I was workin' on a bit ago for an indie game that'll probably never see the light of day (not my current indie project). Though I'll admit it's not full production quality, for the amount of time I put into it, I wanted to up it up at least somewhere.
first experimentation about dynamesh for a full 3D character, it was fun to play with ! the character was inspired from Kurt Papstein's work (aka KPtoons) that i really like the shape of his characters next step will be mass effect clothes style. i will try a mix between salarian and asari design.
@allaze-eroler Not sure I am digging your character's stomach area - currently it looks like 2 sets of boobs on there! Quick question, how did you stack up those heads for taking measurements?

i use kangaroo pouch as reference which the hole is basically like that (kangaroo have indeed 4 boobs in their pouch) and i didn't fused to the body because it will be hard to work with.
beside i do plan to make a mass effect style so, it will mean to be rendered in marmoset toolbag
for that head measurement, i just cuted the head from body and duplicate it as a separate subtool then use alot of move transpose with ctrl+shift for to keep them in the line, it's very good for to see how big the character is
thx to the book done by Scott Spencer for his amazing tutorials about digital sculpture !
but i Made a Fringe inspired level from the episode Reciprocity For a contest on Facepunch called "Loveable Entertainment Locations" this is what i came up with. im proud of what i was able to do and everyone that plays it says they love it!

Love that vibe! I reckon it could use a bit of separation between fore/mid/background via hue shift or saturation adjustments, but I love how it looks otherwise

inspired by wakfu
Razorb : I like 11, but I am also of the opinion that the space between the breasts is too wide.
