Has there been any talk about multiplayer? I think i heard something about co-op in the early days and that shit tickles my balls like nothing else... but I can see them dropping it and it will make me a very sad panda if they do.
All signs pointing to no, if you think of how the game is structured around the player it does make technical sense.

I don't think people would play games such as the Elder Scrolls series for a multiplayer. I know I wouldn't. It'd ruin the atmosphere, imo.
A way to drop in for a co-op experience in Skyrim would be an absolutely mind blowing experience. It would make those long horseback travels through the world so much more interesting
It is the thing I really crave for... Once I tried to use Morrowind multi player mod, without success.
I hope it would be possible in Skyrim, roaming those wild lands with blood-brother. Sitting round bonfire, telling stories, pwning dragons... We would make history!
Well, with that, I am officially done trying to see more of Skyrim until its release. When I play it come November, I want the rest to be something I can discover on my own. Those Argonians are awesome, was waiting on a screenshot of them. But I don't want any more of it spoiled for me, as it's going to be so much better seeing it in motion right in front of me!
Still wish I knew whether or not spellcrafting would be in the game, but oh well, guess I'll find out. Someone be nice and PM me if it's announced? Haha.
What keeps bothering me is how unreasonably 'roided up some of the characters look. It goes without saying that this is a hyper-macho Viking/Conan the Barbarian world and all - but look at at Redguard! He's smuggling footballs in his arms!
Where's all this protein coming from? Have the artists never seen a lean ancient warrior/blacksmith?
Makes no difference to the game; just my personal distate.
I share somewhat similar feelings, though it doesn't look blobby to me at all.
Those shots that were featured in Game Informer, when the game was announced, felt very solid. The recent shots however have huge amounts of visual noise and very uneven texel density. That Argonian's skin looks fantastic and everything else in that shot just feels weak in comparison.
I was hoping the art would feel consistent for a change, but I guess I might have to wait until the next time for that to happen
Not that I blame them of course, the game's gonna be freaking huge again.
If there's one thing I really care about its having some stuff to steal. Oblivion had no decent loot at all (due to its loot scaling mechanics) and I always play TES games as a thief. Having better sneaking mechanics and multiple levels of alertness for NPC's would be pretty cool too.

Yeah, that's why I always get games for PC, because you can always (well at least you should) get better graphic options, and if there is shortcomings like shitty leveling system, the modding community comes to the rescue. On console you have to make do with paying for extra stuff like horse armor...yay. :P
Am I the only one who actually thinks that, despite the lowpoly look, that the morrowind characters looks better then oblivions do? Have more character so to speak?
I am hoping that there will be a lot of easy customization! i noticed in two of the pics already like they are missing an eye... or it looks like they have one good eye, and the other one looks cloudy. Things like that, and scars, face paint, tattoos and more make me really eager to customize my character already. Creating a character in Oblivion was such a pain... no matter what you tried, the character would look pretty bad. Anywho... pretty psyched for this game!
I agree tho, the Argonians look awesome, but so do the other ones. I don't know which one i want to pick.
So GOOD!! ...but the only thing that just gnaws at me is the Khajit's fur hanging off their cheeks. Looks like a gizzard how it's baked in instead of sweet delicious alphas.

is that seam.. part of the character design?
It looks like they're trying for a snake-like appearance. So it probably is.

It's a shame they couldn't improve the graphics.

That would make me very happy. Everyone is morrowind/oblivion was exactly the same size and shape, I loved the variation in Witcher 2
Combination of specular/bloom/post/lightning? Feels very "blobby" somehow...

Like the rest of you, its painful attempting to contain my excitement for this game.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
If by character you mean 'potato shaped' then I apologize.

+1
High Elf
Imperial
Khajiit
Nord
Orc
Redguard
Wood Elf
Argonian
Breton
Dark Elf
Something about the sheer quantity + lighting + black background + weird texturing/normals
(They look a ton better than their previous games' characters though, still lookin' forward to skyrim )
Any polycounters who work there?
Yeah thanks
