haha yeah same, awesome premier! so is the season actually starting now?
Done with 3rd season you are defiantly right about burning through them, I feel It's almost the only way to watch these types of shows, I always hated waiting for the next one, sometimes It can be good other times bad. So much so that if enough time goes by I either forget or don't care for It anymore (has to be really good).
that last episode was a lil boring, not much happened. that and the episode all about killing the fly were the worst so far i think. hopefully next weeks follow up the awesomeness of the premiere.

I skipped that episode. Wonder what the writers were thinking? unless his cancer is spreading to his brain.
Yeah this last episode was pretty boring. Previously I wasn't watching these episodes once a week so those episodes didn't suck that bad... but this weeks was pointless. I guess we will have to wait until next week.
Well, last night's episode seemed like the perfect payoff to all the buildup this season has been working on. It seemed like there was at least on "holy shit" moment every ten minutes and it ended promising more.
I dont know what it is about this season, it just seems kinda boring after s3. the 2nd and 3rd episodes were really slow and nothing interesting really happened. it seems to be picking up a bit, but still isnt super interesting like the past 3 seasons. still love the show but I hope the direction of the season becomes clear sooner than later.
also, its funny that all the main male leads now have shaved heads. walt, jesse, hank and mike. gus as well to some extent, his hair is super short. fuck yea for shaved heads!
Jesse was playing Rage at the beginning of this episode, but playing like it was time crisis, or house of the dead...
Seemed like kind of a shameful promotion and the Restart/Quit thing was pretty fucking cheesy... At least it ties in with how he's feeling about Gail so I'll let it slide.
I'm SO behind!!!!! just started watching this thing i just finished season 2. The characters in this series get so much love from the writers JEBUS! The pacing and direction are brilliant!
I stopped watching the 4th season. Just gonna wait till they're all out then watch.
You sir have balls...
I like balls.
I tried and failed. but after watching the 3 seasons back to back all at once I am positive that is the best way you can experience the show.
Watching it that way climaxes painfully especially after the season 4 delay was announced. Shooting gale in the face felt like the full weight of my house fell down on me.
I use to hate non animated TV. ( cept fer all night AMC binging coincedently )

http://www.wtfpod.com/ Latest ep is interviewing Bryan Cranston (walter white) Good listen, I thought this was the final series, but theres going to be one more!
CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON! Definitely less of a cliffhanger than expected, but that also means there's a lot to wonder about where next season will go!
Spoilers for any nuts who are reading this thread but haven't watched the latest episodes.
The flowers actually weren't that much of a twist. There was a lot of debate whether Walt or Gus poisoned the kid and once Jesse mentioned it was a flower I knew it was Walt. In the beginning of episode 412 where he's spinning the gun the third time he spins it it doesn't land on him. When the camera shifts view you can see the gun was pointing at the flower. That's when Walt stopped thinking it was time to face his consequences and started the plan to poison Brock to get Jesse back on his side.
I think that Gus is alive. I think he survived the explosion, despite being horribly disfigured, and he's going to play a big role in the downfall of Walter White in season 5. Why do I think this?
The writers of this show are really good with the details. He stood up just in time as the explosion went off, standing over Hector when it happened. The explosion was concentrated on the lower part of his face and his torso as a result. This is shown when he walks out of the room, with parts of his suit torn up and bloodied, his jaw blown off, his eye completely missing out of its socket, and his ear ripped apart. There was significant damage just above his missing eye, but the explosion doesn't seem to have blown apart any of his brain, otherwise he would have died instantly, and would not be able to walk out of the room before collapsing.
Later we learn that three people were killed in the explosion. Hector was definitely killed, as he was sitting on the bomb. Tyrus was definitely the second victim, as he was standing right next to Hector when it went off. I believe that Gus survived the explosion because he was shielded from the bomb by both Hector's wheel chair (the bomb was located under the wheelchair, towards the back), and Hector himself. Tyrus was standing to Hector's left, and had absolutely no shielding. As the wheelchair itself and Hector were shielding Gus from the blast, Tyrus had absolutely nothing between him and the bomb.
So who is the third person if it's not Gus? It could be a next door neighbor. It could be that old lady who saw Walter standing outside of Hector's window. I wouldn't be surprised if Walter allowed her to be killed, he didn't hesitate risking his neighbor's life or poisoning the kid either.
I don't know, maybe I'm just a wishful thinker (I thought Gus was a GREAT villain and hope he is back for season 5, no matter how disfigured he is), it's just that my alarm bells went off when they said that three people were killed, but completely avoided saying who.
Gus is Dead. Skyler says so to Walt on the phone after watching the news at Hank's which means the news had to say Gus died. She would have no other way of knowing. And if the bomb had enough force to tear off all of the skin and fuck up his face that bad I'm guessing the shockwave would have damaged his brain enough to kill him. I think you're taking him walking out and straightening his tie too seriously. It was just to show he was so composed even when his head is half blown off and he's dying. I really doubt it was hinting that he wasn't hurt enough to die.
Also I doubt the bomb killed the next door neighbor. It doesn't seem like the bomb had enough force to burst through the walls seeing as it flung the door off but didn't damage the front walls at all. Maybe since it was closer to that wall it's plausible though. I'm still 99% sure Gus is dead though.
Breaking Bad is quite a realistic show. His skull was showing. People do not live through injuries that extensive. He would have died of shock almost instantly.
The only thing I could think of at the end of that last episode was "Walt, you're such a massive dick". Pretty epic season though! Here's to hoping the closure of the series will be equally epic!

I feel the same way. Started with a bang... then died so quick. I was bored out of my mind. But these last couple episodes have been great.
I love the episode when Jessie is with Mike going to the pick ups and they do the time lapse.... it just looks amazing.
I think this week's might have been my favorite episode of the entire show! So damn good! Pinkman turns into a badass!
Absolutely freaking awesome. I love Gus.

If you go back and rewatch it there's pretty clearly a solid wall still there. Also a few gross details:
-Tio and Tryus' limbs scattered about
-Gus' eye tendons moving to match his other eye's movement

DITTO! you took the words right out of my mouth!
Yeah, I was in the ending, Walt went from awesome to a dick. Now we spend a whole year thinking hes a dick.
