Currently halfway though it's 3rd season, Breaking Bad is arguably the best drama on television. Anybody with a TV should be watching it. Anybody with the internet should be watching it.

I was watching it and loving it, but after awhile I kind of just wanted to headbutt him for not taking help when so many people were offering it. It's super good though. Need to start watching again once school is over.

Oh man, the last two episodes have been fantastic. Hank has quickly become my favorite character in the show. This whole recent situation with him has been so intense that I was quite literally shocked at points.

Like when he found out that it was a phony call... dear god that was the most intensely pissed off looking person I have ever seen in my life. I was literally taken aback by the hatred in his eyes. And the last episode, with the twins... oh god this season is going to be incredible.

I was going to post about this. The start of series 1 was a bit slow for me, but after sticking with it I think it's one of the best shows i've seen. Bryan Cranstons acting is pretty darn awesome throughout.

Best show on tv. Perhaps, not my favorite, but it is probably the best thing being made right now. It's just perfect in what it is. Unfortunately, you really need to watch it in its progression, from the start of the season, and the start of each season tends to be kinda slow.

It has probably the highest pay off in terms of viewer commitment, because it can be really difficult at times. It isn't the easiest show, and it's ultimate theme is kinda bleak; it's still totally worth seeing the progression though.

Breaking Bad is forkin' awesome! I've not watched last night's episode yet, but I thought last week's (6?) was really well done. All of the characters are really well developed and the story takes a lot of really bold, unexpected turns. Breaking Bad, Treme and Party Down are pretty much the only TV worth watching at the moment, I think.

Yep, the last episode was amazing the final scene was utterly pulse pounding more exciting than anything I've seen at the cinema in years.

I was unsure if I would want to keep watching after the end of season 2 since Wallt by this point has become a despicable character, but fortunately there are still characters worth caring about ie his family and Jesse.

I think the past two weeks' episodes, with their smaller focus, have been my favourites so far this season. Sometimes I've felt that the big events in season 3 have taken away from the subtleties that make the show so great. Setting Sunday's episode entirely in the lab was a great way of slowing things down and really giving you an insight into Walt and Jesse's mental states. The tension in the scene where Jesse is on top of the ladder was pretty fantastic. I liked how the final scene showed you that nothing had changed between them as well!

This series really has brutal dramatic tension down pat, and doesn't shirk away from the protagonist's descent into insanity and evil in a plausible non cartoonish "frodo-at-Mt. Doom" sort of way. He's a despicable lying murderer, but you empathize with him because his character is really well written and acted.

Suffice to say, this show rocks! Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

They've been showing commercials saying that season 3 was released on Blu-Ray and DVD, so you should be able to get it.

I love Breaking Bad, and I'm glad it's back. The boxcutter scene was pretty intense and unexpected.

It's a shame the show didn't start before the cutoff date for emmy considerations, I could see Bryan Cranston getting his 4th in a row.

Arg, passed out last night before checking out the season premiere, watching it tonight, the season 3 finale was insane. Heisenberg and Pinkman are two of the best damn characters EVER, the story is top notch and the supporting cast is brilliant!

Seems like its going to be the same awesome level of quality thay the 3 other seasons had. Juat rewatched all 3 seasons when i got my roomate into it. Finished s3 only a few hours before the new episode aired. Hands down one of tje best shows on tv, so much awesome character development, look at walt from s1 vs where he is now, its insane! Cant wait to see more.

Yeah, definitely a great episode to start things off. As much as I've enjoyed the show, I hope they don't spin it out too long. At times in season 3 it felt like the stakes were getting a little too high; I preferred the lower-scale events of the first two seasons for sure. I'm really keen for the Walter vs Hank showdown to finally happen this season too!

the creators said there is a good chance it probably wont go past season 5, which is awesome. I love how the entire cast is slowly but surely becoming really ugly, unlikeable characters. most shows that wouldnt work, but this it just makes it even more interesting.

I was the same with the Sopranos Rex... didn't like how it glorified thugs (mafia). In the end I just watched it and was happier for it You're missing out.

There's no way you could say that Breaking Bad glorifies either the taking of drugs, or drug dealing/the drugs war. It's often a very dark and bleak show. I guess it is a pretty good guide for how NOT to become a meth manufacturer though.
