I've been a hobby modeler for 4 years I think, working exclusively in Blender, since I can't really afford any of the major 3D-packages out there, but I feel it gets the job done. I'm trying to improve my art skills in general (and drawing skills in particular) so that I might get accepted to one of the snazzy video-game educations we have going on here in Sweden.
Hello i'm a 3D Artist from colombia i have one year learning zbrush and 3D max i'm still study 3D animation and i hope join and learn more with this comunity
Hello, I've always been interested in the Steam workshop, but never motivated to find out how to make items. Awhile ago I got DotA2 and when I saw the new contest, I finally decided to try to make some items, and compete in the contest.
Yo peeps, I've been a lurker of Polycount for quite a while, now, and never joined in properly because I was daunted by just how amazing you all are. I've told myself that I need to become active and start to develop my skills (I only really know 3ds max, and I've logged only about 20 or so hours of work on the program) by forcing myself to participate in the DOTA2 contest. I dread having to post my work, but look forward to developing a pair of balls.
Hello everyone, I've been looking around Polycount for a while and decided I would join to help and give critique to any that would like it! I can't say I have much talent creating 3D art, however I have two working eyes and I'd at least like to help users improve their submissions visually with constructive criticism. I hope that clears up my account activation and I can't wait to help. Cheers!
Hi! I joined Polycount mainly for the Dota 2 contest (the way I found out about you guys), but hopefully I will stay of other reasons.
I'm a Swedish Game development-student at Stockholms University;)
Hello, it's been 3 years since I've began studying 3D. I've been lurking Polycount for 2 years now and the Dota2 contest is a perfect occasions for me to begin somewhere.
I hope to improve my writing in English since french is my first language.
I go by the alias HellJumper, and you might know me from my TF2 Blender modeling tutorial. I must admit that I was a little reluctant to sign up here because to be honest this site slightly intimidates me. I remember the first Polycount contest involving TF2, and the level of quality was just beyond me. It doesn't help that I'm a student studying the complete opposite of design/modeling, but this sort of thing is a healthy habit for me. Hopefully I'll be able to participate in this year's Dota 2 contest-- That said, it's up in the air considering how much work I am swamped in right now.
Thanks again to Adam and the rest of the Polycount team for the warm welcome,
HellJumper
I've come here to be a part of (hopefully) the DotA 2 Polycount contest. Mostly it's a way to start 3D. While I may not make the greatest stuff, hopefully I will make something

More people interested in modeling and more quality work for Dota 2. Everyone wins.
