I always liked the Chozos from Metroid, and I wanted to do a redesign and play with some new processes. 95% of it was done in ZBrush with a little work in Modo and Fusion 360, and it was rendered in Vray for Modo, with some post process work in Photoshop.
Long time since I've posted here! Been working on a Doctor Who sculpt (realistic this time, my last version of him was cartoony style, attempting a more realistic style this time). Actually got a bunch of great costume reference photos for it from the Doctor Who Experience before it shut down, plus I actually got to meet Capaldi a few weeks ago which was pretty cool!
Finished this project before hurricane Maria rolled by and was finally able to take some renders to post it. Made it to practice design, also first personal project using substance painter to texture. Rendered in Mamoset Toolbag 3.
