@ PeterS3D your cobblestone looks gut, but it seems to me to be a bit flint stonish.. I have the feeling that the roughness has to be a bit different, or something else. I can't really say what is wrong but I have a weird feeling looking at the stones....

This is my third try texturing the SCAR-H and it's my first project with the Quixel suite, so I would love to get some nice tips and feedback about it from you awsome guys and girls
I need to tweak the worn edges, mostly at the main body, stock and the picatinny rails and there is coming a painting on the weapon as well....

@PeterS3D looks much better now. Now I think I know what I am missing on the Texture. Your rocks seem to be too smooth, they need more noise in their normalmap I think... You maybe need to rough up their surface (not the roughnessmap), they need a bit more grain.

I showed my girlfriend your texture and she liked it as well, but she said that you could increase the contrast of it a bit. Maybe darken the plaster a bit.

All in all I like where you are going, ceep your work up

Working on a Top-Down zombie survival shooter (2-8 player co-op). The game is called Dop Town (a spoonerism of Top Down), and I'm hoping to release it on steam within a year.

The following is my youtube playlist of 30-seconds-or-less minor 'advancements' made during development... a cool thing to watch in under 2 minutes if you want to see how a game is created by indies step-by-step.

I'm also looking for an environment artist. Would be cool to team with someone who's better at modelling than I am.
