I am new to polycount and you are all inspiring me. Great work guys.
i am testing some custom aspen trees in CryEngine. Big one has ~1400 tris and the small one ~400 tris.
Feel free to give feedback.
I hope you have a great and creative day/evening.

Awesome awesome stuff everyone.
Here is a dood I've been working on lately.
Thread can be found H E R E if you have any words of advice/happiness/love/hate/disgust/etc.
The last week or two I've been working on some Photoshop scripts to help speed up the tileable texture process. Mainly in the Multi-Layer offset department.
So I made Layer Cake to help with this.

In short, 3 scripts to help with:
Multi Layer offset (select your layers and offset them all!)
Repeat Multi Layer Offset without UI (just repeat the last offset with the same amounts)
AND
Preview your texture in 2x the size with 1 button press.
You can find more info and such

Blood fan piece (wip)
I managed to put my painting on the gun but now I have trouble with adjusting the roughness of the texture. Also it looks different in 3Do and in my UE4 scene, does anybody here have a clue why?
The one on top is from 3Do the one down from UE4
I might be wrong, but I think you need to uncheck sRGB in the roughness texture's properties.

Everything is built in Zbrush/Maya and textured in Zbrush/SubstanceDesigner - Rendered in Marmoset. I also thought I'd show some of the sculpts I made for it

EDIT: I'm never going to get used to that new image upload thing.
not bad for for almost 2 hours max to zbrush and dynamesh. Just trying to shave off some time on the modeling process.
I should get Substance Painter...
