Haven't posted up here in a while! Nice to see everyone doing well
I'm working on a vehicle in my spare time. This is a space plane I kinda mashed together from various concepts, real space planes, and a few ideas I had floating around in my head. Never done a vehicle before, this is really good fun and it's a real challenge having to think about how everything fits together! This is just the high poly so far.
Thinking further ahead, I may create an entire environment for this to sit in. I've been playing a lot of Space Engine, and I really need to practice my organic modelling/texturing more, so I may put this on a runway on some terraformed planet somewhere with a cool little sci-fi vista in the background! Should be good fun.
This is a personal project inspired by a concept art piece by Andre Mealha. (http://andremealha.blogspot.ro/2014/09/heads.html)
Work done to get myself accustomed to the PBR Workflow. High-poly sculpt in Zbrush, retopo in 3DS Max, texture painting in Mudbox, rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2 and retouched in Photoshop.
Thanks for taking a look!

As you can see in the video it works in 2 ways, light shining on it from the bottom and light shining through it from the back, like a lithophane effect.

I am working on a couple medieval models, a city house and a blacksmith interior shop. I am new to understanding how to model specifically for games. How would I go about retopologizing and creating the normal maps for the geo? I know how to extract maps in Mudbox and I own the Quixel suite and a copy of xNormal. Are tris and engons okay to do for the low-res mesh on static objects? I have heard a suggestion of 10000 poly limit on buildings, but what of the interior with all of the props?
Anatomy Study/Character bust of Jecht from FFX, since its been an ageeee since ive done a male character...feel free to critique, its my first time doing muscular characters
This is my first post on Polycount WOO! I have been going to the hangouts for a long time and have always neglected to post. A huge thank you to everyone who helped me work on this piece.

Hopefully will be moving away from weapons soon but just cant shake it off.
Me... I'm trying to setup a nice procedural texture template (Smart material) for cars in Substance Designer. Should make things so much easier.
Hope you like it.:)
