I motivated myself to do some substance designer work, here is some wood I did while testing a bunch of stuff for a future project and getting used to the procedural logic !

I'm currently having a go at a current-gen character. Something a bit more realistic than I'm used to. This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, so this is taking me a bit of time and trying to learn a lot of things at once. I just finished the highpoly, so I hope to finish the low soon!
This is a character I've been working on for fun and also to prepare my presentation with Keos Masons at the Zbrush Summit 2015. I will probably make a more illustrative render in Keyshot in a near future.

Im finding time here and there to slowly chip away at the skinning, but I came across the Digital Emily work from the WikiHuman project last week and after loading the files into toolbag I decided to rework the skin shader and her albedo map. This is my first hard surface modeling project. I'm trying to create believable computer. A lot of inspiration comes from my own built computer but I'm trying to add as much as possible my own ideas into the components in the computer. This way I'm trying to achieve the feeling of uniqueness to the final piece, so there is absolutely no one saying ''Hey that's my computer''.
