i was currently working on a kriss vector
this are some shots of the final model, which consists of 11.500 Tris and 4k Textures.
It was created in Maya, nDo and Substance Designer and rendered in Marmoset.
Taken a break from my bfx competition work to do a little bust sculpt.
Style and presentation heavily inspired by the work of Henning Sanden (and dishonored).
I have finally finished this model, Sylvanas Windrunner, a Warcraft/HotS fanart. (Still need to work on the rig though). Hope you guys like it! I will update the posed version later
Hey all! I'm new to PolyCount and figured I'd show what I've been working on today. This is a Tween (12/13)character that I plan to rig and animate at some point when I have the free time. Blocked out and added some subtle details, he's supposed to be somewhat in shape but not overly muscular. Most of my character art is stylized so this is one of my first attempts at aiming for more realism. Crits welcome and appreciated! Amazing work everyone!
Hey man, it's a nice start. My personal advice would be to double check the overall proportions before you go into small details. What I like to do is load a pre made base mesh which I know is anatomically accurate and compare my sculpt to that.
zbrush comes with a few models by ryan kinglien as standard, he's great for that sort of stuff!
Thanks man I really appreciate your feed! I spent the day looking over proportions and anatomy of a 'tween' and it's definitely different than what I'm used to and have much to learn. I shall certainly load a pre made mesh and compare and thanks for the heads up on ryan kinglien I'll definitely check him out! Thanks alot!
Here's a Keyshot render of my W.A.S.P. Zbrush sculpt with some post-prod texture and effects in Photoshop. If you guys are interested, I'll be showing a couple of polishing tricks at the Zbrush Summit 2015 and also giving a design workshop with Cedric Seaut under our company Keos Masons. Done with concepting this out. Time to work on other parts of the scene. Maybe ill return to it but cant waist too much time dwelling on it.
