working on this fantasy axe from one of Max Davenport's concepts. this is a shot of the hi poly with some material/color tests on it. i will be taking it to low and bakes soon. thanks for checking it out!
This came out looking nice. I'm working on a similar character theme but still at the hair styling phase. Not sure how to transfer the hair to lowpoly.
That's the starfighter Yoda used in the last episodes of Clone Wars Season 6 final story arc. It stunned me what a great design the team at Lucasfilm had made. While I was figuring out all of the functional parts of the model, I was really surprised how everything was well in place and how all of the landing gear parts, pedals and even R2D2 fit in the custom Yoda-sized ship. Hope you like it.

Thanks, man. The render is just with my high poly fibermesh. You'll probably have to make some sort of rectangular IMM Curve brush in order to create some nice, long hair cards.
This is my first post. I recently got back to game art (I was doing mostly 2d illustrations for the past 4 years) and this is my latest project. I'll gladly welcome critiques!
Just brushing up my automotive skills. it's been while i did one. And i used to love doing this, so I am happy to try out all the new stuff. C&C welcome.

Weapon update. I've forward my meshs to the animator I'm working in conjuction with, so excited to see what he can do.
I am kind of bothered how Gloss is not THAT intense when I really darken areas of the Gloss map. Like I think it's gonna do a really stark oily effect, but then it doesn't .
Still looking for critiques about how to push this! I'm clpse, but I think we're hitting that subtle wall that takes up so much time.
After discovering UE4 I have been integrating all the content I have been making for the past year into a series of video game levels. This is bringing me closer to my ultimate goal of one day developing a game about planetary exploration. Right now my next step would be delving into animation. If any animators are interested in working with me to make some of this stuff move let me know! My email is tsmith3d@gmail.com These screenshots are straight out of the engine save for a paint daubs filter in Photoshop, but that is it. Right now this is all still in a very rough early state so hopefully I can be posting updates on this content soon.

In fact, it's been soooo long that I gotta ask, what methods/software/plugins do you all use to make your model presentations shine?
