so close to finally completing it, gotta remember to sleep..
planning to experiment with normal mapping for hand painted after, to see the effect if it can enhance it more~?
Hi guys, just added a new gallery to my Online portfolio, this time some characters for Zombeer game from Moonbite.
Highpoly and lowpoly models and the UVs were made by Alberto Peteiro and I made the textures (diffuse, specular and high frequency detail of the normal map)
Can you take a shot with not-so-high FOV? It feels like people always crank the FOV up when taking pics of X-wings and I feel it doesn't do the awesome shapes justice
Cranked down the FOV and fixed a few other bits to
Seems like I don't really have much free personal time to get 3D work done because of work. So I've been taking to developing my 2D Skills as you can achieve something in a shorter sitting. This is Elsa from Frozen ( I loved that film )
A 3 element effect I made for the background of a sci-fi scene I'm working on, and researching the aesthetics. The nebula has an animated distortion, and the particles stream out endlessly.
Bonus points if you can figure out the inspiration.
Damn! I haven't even checked the waywo thread yet in 2014 somehow. Just went through all 40 incredible pages! I gotta get back into the habit of checking daily.
Here's a couple things I've made in the last couple weeks for Dota. The Swords and Hooks.
Hi! I wanted to share with you my latest work, a mini project I took on, centered on the creation of character designs This is my first one, based on these sketches I made early in January.:p
Did they give you this concept? I only ask because it is literally the old Bungie prop art test. Not really sure if it's something generic they had or if Bungie owns that concept.... To put it into another game could be trouble.
Yep it is based on a concept provided by the developers, I looked for the asset that you said and in fact, it is really similar, I guess that maybe their concept was inspired on that prop from bungie.

yeah I thought so too. It's too close to Bungies art test.

Its not just similar or inspired by the prop from Bungie, that is a straight up rip off of the Bungie art test. Im sure the concept the provided you was even the one Bungie gives out to people. Because that is basically point for point identical in every way.

Yep, maybe... , I removed that one from my gallery, I don't want to create problems to the Riddick game developers
Tucho - Awesome work for that Riddick game, looked like a fun project, and I love the consistency you kept with all your High Polies, as always, awesome work!
