This is a creature for our game me and my brother have been working on. He sculpted it and polypained the head, and the body/clothes textures I did with the Quixel Suite, I animated it in 3ds max and integrated it into UE4 which you can see in the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS2QrB2UxSg
Just starting this, want to see what I can do with an environment in marmoset.
Man this is awesome! I would advise you to put it in a real game engine like unreal or sc2 or something else ! Could be awesome to be able to move around in this environment
A shitty hand painted two-handed axe. Critiques and advices are welcome
Don't go hating on your own work and degrade yourself, be positive yo!
Pretty cool axe dude.
Get some depth on that cloth handwrap, paint ones beneath others slightly darker, your scratches on your cloth, wood and metal don't make too much sense each of them would be chipped differently yet you have drawn them the same.
Your wood hasn't got a natural wood grain flow, look at ref, you have drawn yours more like carved rock.
Have fun

Thanks mate! I always have problems with wood. Any advice about how I should mimic that sweet wood grain? I'm gonna work on the chipping part too
Also thought I'd share with you guys some of the freelance I have been doing which I am allowed to show. It is for a successfully kickstarted game called 'The Girl and The Robot'. You can get more info here:
