Since I am still a beginner, I decided to take a shot at modeling all four of these axes from Randy Cushman's concept. I thought it turned out to be a fun little experiment. There aren't as fleshed out as a final prop would be, but since I am merely using these as practice, I am content with the state that there are in. I might come back to these in the future though.
Wow! Such great work to follow-up. I'm constantly inspired by all the work inside this thread.
Here is sculpt I did based off the concept of Brent Hollowell. I'm thinking of making it a lowpoly, texturing it and putting inside of Marmoset. But for now here is the sculpt.
Jlizzle, loving that lizard guy, can't wait to see it in realtime
Here she is, was a nice quick turnaround piece, had great fun doing it , grey renders to come and possibly a breakdown/tutorial of such as many have been asking for something of that nature
I worked on the Visual update for Sona in League of Legends. This was a ridiculously cool project. Loved every second!! Very proud to be creating girlies for this game! Thank you Riot!
I was going to join blizzfest, but figured I'd learn more starting this personal project(plus i need to make a male someday right?),anyway, just some roughing in, Voldemort's going to be more menacing, fatter, taller, and more muscular(maybe shirtless and bits of robotic metal on the torso)
Goals:Spend at least a day gathering reference/designing, better/efficient use of tris, better edgeflow/topology, better UVs.
Trying zbrush hard surface sculpting.
Always hated their system of crease/panel loops/boolean. I wanted to see if I could something not too crappy with only brushes and it turns out you can do somewhat right as far as surface quality goes and I discovered a few tricks and useful params in the process, so cheers !

Bit of pose wippage on Remi! Wings got a bit mangled, will cleanup!
This shit is amazing! Next up: Learn some more shit, then continue work on my actual environment.
that fresnel falloff in the reflections. can you control that in anyway?
Currently not without eliminating the reflections, but it shouldn't be too hard to fix up a solution.
I love the design of this, I hope you show the final!

Hi everyone.
A quick cartoon sketch for warming up. About 30 min study.

Few things to tweak and add then off to Zbrush

Old character new render messing about in toolbag...putting this one to bed for final.
Don’t normally model guns, but I needed to pad my portfolio a little so I whipped up this stylized franken gun.
