Shameless crosspost
Just a little render i've been working on this week for fun.
Hope you guys like it.
I still have a lot of trouble posing my characters
Marie-Michelle- looks awesome! Any plans on getting it 3D printed sometime down the road? I seriously need to play that game soon...
Skuld- super clean sculpt, love it!
So its been seriously forever since I've sculpted anything. This is gunna be a goiter rotting gross zombie guy dude for a FPS horror game. (Haven't touched anything but the head really so far)

Hehe I like how you didn't dare calling me tits :P.
Just kidding but yah actually I think it would be pretty sick to correct some stuff on it and then get it 3d printed but I think that would actually really expensive (?). I don't really know all the technical part when making a mesh ready for 3d printing too.
Maybe I'm gonna look into it, you never know
Hi Guys and girls,
Finally I decided to post in this forum and to show you my work. Looking for your opinion on my work. It is final high poly, still need to texture and model in low poly. Any advise from you will be much appreciated. BTW it is Soviet ISU152K
Looking nice all! Zedaxis I like that wear on the walls. How did you go about making that?
Here's another two of the Mark III. I should probably re-do some of the textures as previously criticized, but it'll do for now. Also a blinn render since details are easier to read that way imo.
Hey guys, first post here for me.. exciting! I see some real great artists on these forums and can only humbly hope to reach the same level at some point.
Here's a game character I'm working on for a 30s/40s Mafia shooter(yes, I have permission to show it ) Face done, working on clothing now.
Any tips/feedback is welcome; still got much to learn.
Compared to the Mark III or is it personal opinion? I tried to get the proportions of the parts pretty accurate, but I might have missed something that you have spotted in the film.
The level of epicness of this thread is legendary! Nice work everybody!
Well, here's my small contribution: a male bust to clean my rustiness with Zbrush. The final model is real time rendered in Marmoset Toolbag, and the rest is pretty self explanatory in the image
just saw The Room for the first time and got inspired to do a horribly acted animation
about 2 hours in so far, couldn't stop myself from starting on the facials way too early
Hi, first post here, still on begining of the looong way of learning and mastering.
Based on forum member concept. But i wanted to make her look more adult.

That's awesome for only a couple hours of work! I do want to note, if you plan to go back into this, the mouth shapes could use a little work. The sides of his mouth, in particular, are sticking out as not quite being accurate.
I think the main thing that's bothering me is right at the end when his lips kind of lop-sidedly return to normal position at separate times. And just in general, the mouth shapes on that return from "SA" to resting just aren't working for me.
I DO want to say that I rather like the "TEARING ME APART" segment.

I actually just ordered a print from Shapeways, and yeah it was pretty expensive. It was about a 10cm tall bust and was around $90. And hollowing it out was kind of a pain.
hey thanks for the feedback!
this was just a little thing I wanted to do after seeing that wonderful movie, and to get used to Maya again for a bit
I'm not gonna work too much more on it, but I'll poke around on the mouth shapes today .. don't want to waste too much animation-mana on it
thanks!

Hows the quality btw? Ive heard of shapeways before. Actually it's not that bad for the price, i've seen price way higher than that before. I was actually wondering about those technical details like hollowing, would you mind sharing what's the process of this or any tutorial etc?
Working on a Wing Commander version of the newly released Star Citizen Hangar in Unity.
About two evenings of work so far, getting started on the surrounding hangar today.

edit: updated
Finishing this up. It's been a fun one!
Decided to make a low poly for it and went a bit “Borderlands” with the textures!
Based on forum member concept. But i wanted to make her look more adult.
Wow ! Outstanding texture !

Zenoart: Nice brush economy and levels of detail good to see the process too
Here's a sketch I done at the National Portrait Gallery

Ahh perfect, and your animation is miles ahead of his acting, somehow I almost bought the line from this guy. Well done.
Some progress on my Elizabeth, Vox Populi outfit design.
Thinking about calling it done
I'm a fan of Breaking Bad! (They do such attached camera shots relatively often in the show)
Used Kinect mocap for the Skeleton walk animations.
He is kinda cute but also really dangerous with him shooting fireballs. There ia also a big dragon in the game.
Its a non-stop riding kinda game.
